The crack in the sky did not widen—it peeled,as if invisible fingers were tearing reality apart layer by layer.
A slow, resonating hum rolled across the battlefield, heavy enough to make even Adrax's knees weaken. Dust lifted off the ground, pulled upward by a force no one could understand. The air became thin, sharp, almost metallic.
Hyung's throat tightened.
Because this wasn't just a door opening.
This was something on the other side forcing its way in.
THE DOOR OPENS
Null hovered a few inches above the ground, body stiff, arms dangling. His shadow stretched until it covered half the broken valley, shivering like a living thing. The Third Fragment's spiraling eye rotated behind him, each turn causing another fracture in the sky.
D U stepped closer, hands shaking despite fighting it.
"It's not just the Door," he whispered."It's the original seal breaking…"
The crack above widened with a thunderous snap.Light poured through—not warm, not divine, but white and empty, like a void pretending to be light.
The sky didn't brighten.
It became hollow.
A single massive silhouette pressed against the tear from the other side—a shape with no edges, only shifting geometries that hurt the eyes to look at.
Hyung staggered.
"What… is that…?"
Aizeno answered quietly.
"The one who forged the Fragments. The one Null was created to contain. The one NONE of us are ready to stand against."
The Door ripped open completely.
And the world fell silent.
THE ENTITY DESCENDS
A tendril-like limb of white distortion reached down first—slow, elegant, weightless.Where it touched the ground, stone turned into black dust instantly.
A second limb.A third. Each one twisting into shapes that seemed to change every second—human one moment, insect-like the next, then pure geometry.
There was no roar.No scream.
The Entity simply arrived.
And everything around it began to rewrite—trees bending into impossible angles, boulders stretching into thin spirals, even the air forming glitch-like fractures.
Hyung grabbed at his head as the sound finally hit him:
Not noise. Not a voice.A thousand overlapping whispers speaking in a language he didn't know but somehow understood.
"Return the vessel.""Stabilize the host.""Third sequence broken.""Restore the cycle.""Reclaim the creation."
The Entity's limbs stretched toward Null—not to attack him,but to take him back.
DU reacted instantly, slamming both palms into the ground.
Thousands of black seals erupted around Null like dark flowers.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM!"
For the first time, the Entity stopped. Its limbs hovered in place, shapes flickering.
DU stood, breathing hard, sweat running down the side of his face.
"This is my domain. My seal. You can't take him without breaking me first."
Aizeno muttered under his breath:
"He's stalling. This isn't even slowing the Entity—just distracting it."
Hyung swallowed hard.
"Then what do we do? We can't let it take Null—"
Aizeno lowered his head.
"That's not the real danger."
Hyung turned sharply."What do you mean?!"
Aizeno's voice was quiet.
"The danger is… what it will do to Null's mind if it tries to reclaim him."
NULL'S MIND BREAKPOINT
Null's head snapped upward.
Not slowly.Not naturally.
Like a doll being yanked by an unseen puppeteer.
His eyes were blank—no pupils, no emotion, only spiraling white.
Then the Fragment's voice spoke:
"It remembers me."
The Third Fragment twisted behind him, distorting.
"It wants to merge."
Hyung took a step back.
"…merge?"
DU didn't look away from the Entity."It doesn't want Null's body.It wants Null's mind.To override it.To rewrite him back into what he was meant to be."
Hyung felt something cold spread through his chest.
"What… what was Null meant to be?"
Aizeno answered without hesitation.
"A container.Not a person."
The Entity's limbs moved again, slowly, almost gently.
It touched the air above Null's forehead—
—and Null screamed.
Not human.Not mortal.
A layered scream, tearing through the valley.
His memories flashed around him as distorted silhouettes:• his childhood• the lab• his first Fragment• Hyung dragging him away from death• DU training him• the fragments whispering• the black door• Aizeno watching over him• the battles, the wounds• the world he was learning to love
All of them twisted, stretched, breaking.
Hyung shouted to DU:
"STOP IT! His mind—he's going to break!"
DU's seals pulsed harder, but cracks formed across them.
"I'm trying—this thing wasn't supposed to be here yet!"
Null's scream spiked—
—and then stopped.
His body fell silent.Limbs loose.Head tilted.
Hyung ran forward—but an overwhelming force threw him back.
A moment later…
Null's eyes opened.
But they weren't his eyes.
Not the Fragment's spirals.
Not the Entity's emptiness.
Something else.
Something in-between.
A merging.
A hybrid.
Null spoke in a calm, emotionless voice:
"Designation restored.""Identity overwritten.""Null… returning to Origin."
Hyung felt his heart drop.
Because this wasn't Null.
Not anymore.
Not unless someone stopped the merge.
