Chapter 50 - CHAPTER 48 — “Null’s Second Awakening Breaks Through / The Entity Behind the Door / Aizeno Makes His Move.”

The ruins had already trembled under Adrax's descent. But now, as Null's Second Awakening stirred, the world itself began to twist.

Air folded.Stone liquefied.Light bent backward in serpentine lines.

Hyung felt it first—a deep resonance under his ribs, as if a second heartbeat had been forced inside his chest.Null's aura wasn't radiating outward.

It was pulling everything inward.

Hyung grabbed Null's shoulders.

"Null… look at me. Stay grounded. Don't let it take over."

Null heard him, but his vision had already splintered. He was seeing two worlds at once:

The ruins around him.And the door inside his mind—the one D U had warned him about.

Behind that door, something shifted. Not monstrous. Not malicious.Simply vast.

A presence that felt like ancient sunlight caught inside an eclipse.

Null reached toward it—

—and the sky cracked.

A horizontal fracture streaked across the clouds like a blade cutting through glass.Adrax paused, his enormous form bending slightly as if analyzing the disturbance.

"That door," Adrax rumbled, "was not meant to open yet."

D U smirked lightly but stepped forward—tension hidden behind his relaxed posture.

"Too late. You pushed him. Aizeno pushed him. Now the thing behind that door wants out."

Hyung looked sharply at D U.

"What is behind it?"

The normally playful expression on D U's face faded.

"Something Null created… without knowing. Something neither Adrax nor Aizeno ever planned for."

Null sank to one knee as the pressure increased inside him, gripping his chest.

His spiral eye glowed too brightly to look at.The aura around him throbbed with two distinct pulses—one rhythmic, calm… the other sharp, electric, raw.

Hyung crouched and held him steady.

"Null. Talk to me. What do you see?"

Null's voice came in a whisper that sounded like two voices layered on top of one another—his own and something older.

"A door… and a hand reaching through it. A voice calling my name."

Hyung tightened his grip.

"Whose voice?"

Null's jaw clenched.

"I don't know. But… it knows me."

The ground erupted beneath them.

A shockwave burst from Null, flattening the rubble in every direction. Hyung held firm, anchored by sheer will and Mid-Prime physique. D U slid back a few inches, expression sharpening. Even Adrax's massive form recoiled slightly.

From the rift overhead, Adrax's voice thundered:

"Pull him away from it, Hyung. If the entity completes the merge, he will cease to exist as himself."

Hyung growled back:

"He isn't your creation anymore! He has a choice!"

Adrax's tone darkened.

"Choice is meaningless to a vessel."

D U laughed once, coldly.

"See, that right there? That's why your whole section of the universe crashed."

Adrax ignored him, focusing on Null again.

"The entity behind that door is not your ally. It will consume you to stabilize its form."

Null grit his teeth.

"That's not what I feel."

"What you feel," Adrax replied, "is influence."

Hyung leaned closer to Null, speaking urgently.

"You don't have to open anything. You don't have to listen to any voice. Just stay with me. Stay here."

Null nodded shakily—

—but the presence in his mind pressed harder, the voice becoming more distinct:

"Find me."

The door glowed like a slit of white fire.

Something pushed.

A shape.A silhouette.A figure standing behind the door, taller than any human but not monstrous—almost humanoid in outline.

Hyung saw Null's eyes widen.

"What is it? What's coming?!"

Null whispered:

"I think… it's another me."

Before Hyung could respond—

The clouds spiraled violently.Ribbons of space twisted around the ruins.D U's eyes narrowed.

"He's about to enter the breach point."

Hyung pulled Null closer.

"Null. Listen to me. Don't open that door. Not yet. Don't let it swallow you."

But Null was no longer fully hearing him.

The voice from behind the door grew louder, echoing like someone whispering across a canyon of starlight:

"You cannot stay separated. Open the way."

Null gasped, chest burning.

"I… can't hold it… It's pulling me in—!"

Hyung wrapped both arms around him, stabilizing him as the ground tilted sideways.

"You're not alone. I'm here. You hear me? I'm here!"

D U raised one hand sharply.

"Hyung. Move him two steps left. Now."

Hyung didn't question—he shifted instantly.

A column of void-energy slammed down where Null's head had been a moment before, detonating the ground in a plume of black dust.

Adrax had attacked.

D U cursed under his breath.

"He's trying to force the door open by overloading Null's mind. If he breaks Null's concentration—"

Hyung finished grimly:

"The entity forces its way in."

Adrax extended his hand again, gathering a sphere of compressed void.

"This time… he will open."

D U slid in front of them.

"Oh, no he won't."

He pressed his palm into the air.

Reality buckled.

And Adrax's attack curved backward mid-flight—slamming into the rift that Adrax was emerging from.

A crack ripped across Adrax's massive torso—thin, but glowing.

Adrax stepped back, surprised.

"You…"His voice trembled in a way it never had before."You are a system-breaker."

D U winked.

"Finally noticed?"

But Null couldn't hear them.

Because the door had begun opening on its own.

Aizeno's voice entered the world—not from the sky, not from the ground, but from everywhere at once.

Cold.Calm.Sharp.

"So. The second awakening has reached its threshold."

Hyung's blood went cold.

"Aizeno… you're here?"

"My body is elsewhere," Aizeno answered, "but my influence is woven through the chamber. I warned Adrax not to push him this far this soon."

D U rolled his eyes.

"Oh great. Dad of the year finally shows up."

Aizeno ignored him.

"Null. Listen carefully."

Null lifted his head weakly.

"Aizeno… why… why is there someone behind the door?"

Aizeno's answer was chilling.

"Because I split your core into three pieces, not two."

Hyung froze.

"Three?!"

Aizeno continued:

"One in your body. One inside Hyung. And the last…"A slight pause."…became its own identity."

Hyung's eyes widened with horror.

"You… created another existence inside him?"

"No," Aizeno said, voice absolute."He created it. The moment he resisted my design. It is the part of him that refuses control."

Null felt the room bend, the door glowing brighter.

The voice behind the door spoke again—closer now:

"Open."

Null's body shook uncontrollably.

Hyung shouted:

"Null—don't! You don't know what it is!"

Aizeno spoke with icy certainty.

"If he does not open it, Adrax will kill him. The only path is forward."

Null's breath broke.

The door cracked open.

A white hand reached through.

D U prepared to intervene.

Hyung braced.

Adrax roared.

Aizeno whispered:

"It's time."

Null reached forward—

And the world turned white as the entity behind the door stepped into reality.
