A shockwave rolls across the rooftop.
Null takes a single step.
To Aizeno, it looks normal.
To everyone else, the world glitches — as if frames are missing.
A cracked, armored enforcer (one of Aizeno's sub-commanders who had been hiding) jumps forward with a heavy gauntlet.
He doesn't even finish the swing.
Null has already:
slipped past him
mapped his movement
analyzed bone density
selected the weakest structural point
predicted his reaction
chosen the perfect angle
and executed the hit
all before the man's fist even reached half extension.
CRACK—!
The enforcer slams into the roof wall, spine bending unnaturally.
Null doesn't blink.
A second attacker leaps at him with a blade.Null tilts his head a fraction.
The air draws glowing lines around the attacker — paths of possibility.
NULL (dual voices overlapping):"Slow."
He steps forward.
One punch.
Not even a punch — more like a tap.
The attacker flies across the rooftop and into a water tank, denting it inward like it was foil.
SCENE 2 — AISENO WATCHING (POV SHIFT)"The experiment performs beautifully… but too fast."
Aizeno folds his arms, calm.
His heartbeat doesn't rise even once.
AIZENO (thoughts):His reaction time is now sub-perceptual.He's processing futures… not present.A prediction engine.
Null's body doesn't move like a fighter anymore — it moves like an algorithm.
But then Aizeno notices something.
Null's left eye twitches.
His shoulders tremble.
The air around him flickers violently.
Aizeno's smile fades slightly.
AIZENO (thoughts):But the synchronization… it's too early.Both brains running at full power? No human can sustain that.
A thin crack appears in the rooftop stone beneath Null's feet.
Not a physical crack.
A distortion, like reality is bending.
AIZENO (thinking):He's losing control.

Black screen.
Wind.
The sound of rain hitting metal.
Aizeno's footsteps in a dark alley.

Not famous.Not feared.Still unknown — just a genius seeking something "interesting."
He walked past a collapsed trash container.
Then he heard it.
Crying. Soft. Broken. A child.
He moved the trash aside.
A boy sat curled into a ball, bleeding from the face, arms bruised.Eyes swollen.Shaking.
But that's not what made Aizeno freeze.
The boy — little Null — was muttering two different sentences at the same time.
Two completely separate thought streams.
Perfectly synchronized.
Like two kids whispering inside one skull.
Aizeno crouched down slowly.
AISENO (young, soft voice):"What's your name?"
The boy didn't answer.
He just looked up — and Aizeno saw it:
One eye filled with fear, emotion.The other eye empty, cold, calculating.
Aizeno exhaled sharply.
AISENO (whispering to himself):"…a dual-core mind… in a child?""…a miracle."
He took off his coat and wrapped it around the boy.
AISENO:"I'll take you somewhere… safer."
The boy didn't resist.
His two "inner voices" muttered:
Protect…Erase…
Aizeno smiled.
That was the moment he decided to reshape the world.
Using Null.
SCENE 4 — PRESENT: THE UNSTABLE MODE"The minds begin to fight each other."
Back to the rooftop.
Null staggers.
He grips his skull with both hands.
Veins glow white-silver.His teeth grit.His breath sounds like two people inhaling at once.
The space behind him splits into visible distortions — like cracks in glass made of air.
NULL (double layered, glitching voice):"—stop—stop—STOP—"
The logical mind speaks:
You must optimize.I will take control.The emotional core is inefficient.
The instinctive mind screams:
NO. BREAK EVERYTHING. FIGHT. DESTROY—
Null slams a hand on the ground.
A crater forms instantly — even Aizeno steps back one centimeter, eyes narrowing.
AIZENO (low whisper):"…it's happening."
Null's aura tears upward like a tornado.
Electricity.Dust rising.Reality bending.Sound stretching.
His body twists slightly — like two overlapping frames trying to fuse.
His voice splits:
NULL (two voices):"LETMEOUT—"
Aizeno watches with fascination and slight disappointment.
AIZENO:"He's not ready…but the instability is also… beautiful."
Null's eyes go blank.
He looks up at Aizeno.
Both minds speaking at once:
NULL (overlapping voices):"Aizeno……did you plan this?"
Aizeno smirks faintly.
AIZENO:"I plan everything."
Null's aura explodes outward.
