Chapter 98: Kaito vs. 11 Genin
Kairan Tomio watched Renjiro carefully.
The chunin began explaining the situation to him, telling him about the Wind Release slash and how Renjiro created a Shadow Clone and used Earth Release techniques to kill his comrade on the hill.
He immediately ordered, "Get ready. I will deal with that jonin. All chunin, fight with me."
He looked at his second-in-command and ordered, "Masato, you lead the genin and eliminate those three brats."
Mano Masato stood next to Kairan Tomio. He had a sword hanging at his waist.

Unfortunately for the enemy genin, regrouping was not easy.
Seeing all enemies disengage from his Wind Clones, Kaito used Body Flicker again, appearing behind one of the genin.
The genin sensed him and quickly turned around, swinging his kunai. In response, Kaito slashed down with his sword.
The kunai collided with the sword. Kaito's opponent wanted to use this collision to leap past him and escape.
However, Kaito's sword cut through his kunai, and the blade continued forward, cutting the unsuspecting genin in half.
Kaito noticed the look of astonishment on the enemy's face when his kunai was severed.
At the same time, another opponent was besieged by four of Kaito's Wind Clones.
Two of the Wind Clones used up their chakra to unleash Wind Release: Wind Blast, achieving a direct hit. As he was severely wounded, the other two decapitated him.
The remaining three genin successfully regrouped. But they were immediately surrounded by Kaito's eight Wind Clones, while Kaito stood slightly behind his clones.

With all ten genin eliminated, Kaito turned his attention to the elite chunin fighting Mieko and Hodaka.
