Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: Illiterate Seele, Aggressive Natasha

"You still haven't answered me, why were you completely naked?"

Oliver looked at the distant stone wall, his tone carrying a slight hint of reproach.

Behind him, there was a rustling sound of clothes being put on.

Seele's reply also came: "I don't know how, but my clothes just ran away on their own—I am not an exhibitionist!"

It was confirmed.

Oliver finally confirmed that Seele had indeed been affected by his Shed Armor.

As for the reason—he figured it must be related to Seele's photo.

'Could it be that using Shed Armor on a photo also makes the subject of the photo suffer the Shed Armor effect?'

If that were true, wouldn't he be able to cause his enemies social death from light-years away?

He wondered what the effect would be if he used it on an Aeon.

"Alright, you can turn around now."

Seele patted Oliver's shoulder.

When Oliver turned around, he saw a shy young girl.

Seele's cheeks were flushed, and wearing the new clothes gave her a unique kind of beauty.

"Now this is the Seele I know."

Oliver said jokingly, smiling.

Seele grabbed Oliver's sleeve, "Let's hurry up and leave, this place is too strange."

She was genuinely scared.

What if her clothes exploded again?

What if Oliver's clothes also exploded, wouldn't they be seeing each other completely exposed?

Seele was still an innocent girl; although she had a quick temper, she certainly had a sense of shame.

"Also, don't tell anyone else about what just happened. This is our secret, keep it buried, otherwise I'll—"

"You'll what?"

"I'll be angry!"

Seele's huffy expression was quite amusing.

Oliver felt like he was teasing a cat.

He decided not to tell her the truth, lest this little cat get startled and hostile.

"Since you're so amazing, do you know what caused that? Does everyone who passes through there have their clothes explode?"

Seele suddenly asked.

Oliver remained silent for a moment before answering her: "It's probably due to energy overflow and rising temperatures, causing quantum entanglement in certain areas, and then your clothes exploded."

He casually made up an explanation.

He figured since Seele was illiterate, he could easily fool her.

"So that's it—that's a really profound principle. I don't understand these things, but if you said it, then I believe it."

Seele grabbed Oliver's sleeve again and pulled him to walk quickly, "I can't explain it clearly, come with me and tell Natasha about this."

Oliver did not resist Seele's pulling.

He quite liked her energetic appearance.

However—it was easy to fool Seele, but Natasha was not so easy to fool—Meanwhile.

Inside Natasha's clinic.

A girl lay dying on the sickbed.

A section of her head was caved in, and there was a bloody hole.

Natasha was trying to stop the bleeding for her.

But no matter how she treated it, the wound kept spurting blood.

"Damn it, why won't it stop—"

Natasha was drenched in sweat and dared not stop.

She had studied at a medical school in the Upper District since childhood, and to save more people, she came alone to the Lower District, becoming the only doctor here.

She wanted to save everyone.

But unfortunately, she was currently powerless against such severe injuries.

This girl had been hit on the head by a falling ore. Judging by the wound on her head, there might even be fragments embedded in her skull.

The fact that she was still alive when brought here was already a miracle.

"I can't do anything—"

A sense of helplessness overwhelmed Natasha.

As a doctor, watching a patient die right in front of her while being unable to do anything was utterly despairing.

"You have done enough."

Suddenly.

A gentle voice came from behind her.

Before she could turn around to look.

She saw a large hand reach over and rest on the back of her hand.

Immediately following, a strand of green fluorescence appeared.

A surge of abundant vitality seemed to transfer onto Natasha's palm.

Soon.

A miracle occurred.

The girl's wound stopped bleeding.

The caved-in skull began to heal, and the horrifying bloody hole recovered at a visible rate.

Amidst her shock, Natasha finally saw the owner of the hand.

It was Oliver.

She hadn't expected that in her moment of despair, Oliver would appear before her again, offering her hope.

What surprised her the most was that Oliver would personally intervene to save the life of a girl he didn't even know.

After a few minutes, the girl was restored to her original state, her breathing steady and strong.

All the wounds on her body had vanished.

Healing and saving people with the Power of Abundance was incredibly easy.

As long as you still had one breath left, he could save you.

Natasha performed an examination, confirmed that the girl had fully recovered, and the heavy burden in her heart finally lifted.

She let out a long sigh, wiped the sweat from her forehead, and displayed her usual elusive smile.

"Thank you, Mr. Oliver."

This expression of gratitude was sincere and heartfelt.

"Why thank me? I am also happy that I could save a child."

Oliver smiled gently.

At this moment, in Natasha's eyes, Oliver was indeed a good person, a hero who should not be guarded against, just as Seele had said.

Thinking back to what she had previously said to Seele, Natasha felt truly awful for having suspected Oliver's intentions.

How bad could a person who was willing to condescend to save others really be?

She felt she wasn't as insightful as Seele.

"In any case, Mr. Oliver, please feel free to speak if you have any instructions. I will follow them all."

Natasha poured Oliver a glass of water.

An enigmatic smile hung on her face.

It must be said, this doctor was indeed very beautiful.

Especially the headlights on her chest—they were blindingly bright!

Even though she was dressed quite heavily, the brightness couldn't be concealed.

The first glance a man had of her would inevitably be drawn to those headlights. (As pictured)

And her figure—it was curvy where it should be curvy, and slender where it should be slender.

If she took off her armor, she would certainly look amazing.

Oliver shook his head, casting aside distracting thoughts, and said seriously, "I came to see Svarog and dropped by to see you. I don't have any instructions."

"Oh, there is one thing—"

Oliver patted Natasha's shoulder and pulled out a drawing: "Hook asked me to marry you, and also told me to manage you, preferably by assigning you to clean the toilets every day."

???

Natasha couldn't believe her ears.

Looking at the drawing in Oliver's hand, it was indeed the kind of abstract work only Hook could produce.

That mischievous child actually tried to set her up on a blind date?

"Haha, Mr. Oliver, please excuse her. Children are ignorant and talk nonsense."

Veins popped out on Natasha's forehead; she was clearly very angry.

She only refrained from exploding out of respect for Oliver, maintaining her smiling facade.

"Please wait here for a moment. I need to step out."

Natasha walked to the corner with a strained smile, picked up Hook's 'Doodle Machine,' and then left the clinic.

Oliver added, "Oh, right, Old Svarog taught her that."

At the same time.

In a dilapidated tavern.

Sampo's hand, holding his wine glass, trembled involuntarily.

"Huh? Why do I have a feeling that disaster is imminent?"
