Whir Whir Whir!!—

Roar Roar Roar!!!

The wildly flapping wings reached an extremely fierce speed in the blink of an eye!

Roar Roar Roar!!

Noise comparable to that of a combat jet, echoing within several kilometers!

The giant 'marine creature' has flown into the sky in an instant!

It has a majestic appearance, twinkling compound eyes, and most frighteningly, six formidable legs!

Its mouthparts are slender yet rigid, and it seems that some blood is still slowly dripping down!

Roar!!—

The Big Mosquito's wings flapped fiercely.

This was the declaration of return it made when it returned to the sky, a flying monster that made even Japan's Air Self-Defense Force feel tremendous fear.

"I'm back!

Stronger and stronger, if you dare, come on!"

Roar roar!!

The Giant Mosquito looked at the blue sky and white clouds above, and the intoxicating breeze around it.

It was in high spirits!

Flap Flap!!

Boom Boom Boom!!!

The Big Mosquito flying in the sky, with a speed like a meteor, was incredibly fast.

In a flash, it had reached a height of one thousand meters!

"One thousand meters used to be my limit, but now, my limit is far beyond this!" Jia Yan spoke softly, looking at the sky above, and the higher parts of the sky were waiting for Jia Yan to conquer!

The current him, newly reborn, did not estimate much, but was directly venting!

In crazy venting!

Let's see how powerful the Giant Mosquito, resurrected from the deep sea, is!

Jia Yan's compound eyes sparkled more and more.

He was flying towards the higher sky!

Roar roar roar!!—

The violent roar caused by the flapping wings echoed throughout the sky!

Boom Boom Boom Boom!!

The sound of the raging wind sweeping past his ears was just too pleasant, just like a portrait of Jia Yan's current mood!

Roar!

Roar!

Roar again!

The Giant Mosquito was still shooting up!

Meanwhile, this scene happening on the coastline has already been directly observed by Japan's radar early warning detection!

A huge creature, even exceeding the size of two to three meters.

If this were the previous Japan, it would definitely be a major news topic, and it might even cause the whole world to be shocked.

But today, when this strange large creature reaction appeared on Japan's early warning radar, no one in the entire radar monitoring station was surprised.

Don't misunderstand, the radar station was still working normally, but the atmosphere here was definitely filled with strangeness and gloom.

"There are abnormalities on the radar monitor!

Height one thousand, one thousand three, one thousand five, still rising!" Suddenly a staff member working in front of the screen quickly reported the strange data in the monitor.

But after this person reported the data, he continued with his other work, and the rest just glanced at the screen and then ignored it.

The reaction of this monitoring station was not because they were shirking their responsibilities, but because, at this time, Japan was in a state of chaos and a high-level blame game was going on, resulting in inaccurate orders, making the war against the Metal Monster even more unsuccessful.

The military and civilians suffered heavy casualties!

However, Jia Yan did not care about these.

The annoying warplanes are fine if they don't come out.

If they do, he would like to teach the other side a little lesson and repay the hard times the other side had given him during this period!

The Giant Mosquito was still flying towards the high sky!

Roar!!—

The giant mosquito, with its pair of azure wings, was beautiful when flying, with colorful light reflecting a faint glow in between flaps.

From birth to now, the Big Mosquito, which has always been dark and not very good-looking, had a part that might be called 'beautiful' for the first time, but I don't know how the Big Mosquito would feel about it.

Jia Yan was indeed in a good mood now.

But this good mood was not because the wings had become more beautiful.

In fact, he didn't even have the mood to care about such a small change!

What made him happy was the improvement in his own flying ability!

The height had reached one thousand nine hundred meters!

But this was not the limit yet!

The surrounding air became extremely cold, if it was the previous Big Mosquito, it would probably have become stiff due to the cold!

But!

So far, there was no reaction from Jia Yan!

The temperature here was indeed cold, coupled with the rapid drop in temperature in the Wa Kingdom these few days, so areas around two thousand meters high were probably around negative five or six degrees Celsius.

But the Big Mosquito showed no reaction at all, Jia Yan even couldn't feel the change in temperature!

"That reminds me, when I was at the bottom of the sea, although the hundreds of meters of water depth wasn't extremely cold, it was hovering around zero degrees.

It's conceivable that during evolution, creatures instinctively felt the threat of temperature, hence my resistance to temperature might have increased."

With a profound look in his compound eyes, the Big Mosquito quickly analyzed the reason for his current ability to withstand low temperatures!

Whooosh!!

The height he was ascending to continued to increase!

Finally, he broke through the two thousand meter mark!

"Excellent!

There is still no reaction, it seems that the enhancement after the mutation is truly significant!" Jia Yan continued to drive his body upward!

Two thousand five!

There was a brighter shine in Jia Yan's compound eyes.

Two thousand nine!

Joy welled up in Jia Yan's compound eyes.

Three thousand two!

The joy in Jia Yan's compound eyes almost became tangible.

Three thousand nine!

The tangible joy in Jia Yan's compound eyes appeared to be turning into sheer ecstasy.

Four thousand five!

The surroundings were icy cold.

Tiny ice crystals were consolidating in the surrounding, and the Big Mosquito began to feel a slight chill.

Jia Yan's eyes gleamed brighter.

After a moment of thought, Jia Yan gave up the idea of continuing to ascend.

"Whatever, feeling the cold at this height is already beyond my expectations.

I could continue to ascend but the Wa Kingdom people below might have readied their fighter jets.

Ascending further might affect my combat power, let's save it for next time!"

Finally, the Big Mosquito started to descend.

This high-altitude flight, although not at his limit, allowed Jia Yan to roughly estimate his maximum flight altitude. seaʀᴄh thё NôᴠeFire.ηet website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

The estimated height would likely be between five thousand five hundred and six thousand five hundred meters.

Any higher, and he guessed that his body would probably be unable to withstand the cold and become rigid.

Of course, this number is just an estimation.

Jia Yan made this estimation based on his current body feelings.

In this estimation, he had the biggest question!

That is about the Azure Material in his current body!

When Jia Yan was flying, these Azure Materials would momentarily appear as he flew, then quickly hide away.

Jia Yan was wondering, if he was to unleash his full power, how much could these Azure Materials that permeate the whole body enhance his power?

And then, what altitude could he reach at that time?

Saying seven thousand meters seems a bit conservative, so…

eight thousand meters?!

Or, even nine thousand meters?!

He couldn't be flying at an altitude of ten thousand meters, right?!

That's the flying altitude of most airliners.

Jia Yan was startled by his own thoughts, and forcefully drove this unrealistic idea out of his mind.

After all, at ten thousand meters, the oxygen and temperature are completely different from when he was flying at over four thousand meters.

Even if he put his faith in the power enhancement brought by the Azure Material, he couldn't imagine himself soaring freely in such high skies.

"So far, I only know that Azure Material exists in my body, but can't stimulate them at all.

It's only when I flapped my wings hard earlier, a bit of the Azure Material slowly appeared on my body.

Could this be the way to activate Azure Material?"

During Jia Yan's descent, he tried to flap his wings, suddenly bursting out a huge power!

This power was not Jia Yan's strongest power, but there was an Azure color pervading the muscles in his wings.

Afterwards, his flight speed seemed to have broken through some kind of limit!

Boom!!————

That was a sonic boom!

Jia Yan felt that when he flapped his wings forcefully, it seemed that the color of the Azure Material appeared, and his flight speed suddenly accelerated explosively!

In a blink of an eye, Jia Yan felt an unbelievable gravitational force pulling him backward.

The speed exploded so fiercely, it directly subjected him to dozens of times his weight in force!

The extent of this acceleration, if experienced by a human, might lead to death due to blood being squeezed and all the blood vessels bursting!

Only an astronaut's physique, coupled with a series of protective measures, might be able to withstand such a huge acceleration!

Just when Jia Yan burst out with speed, wanting to check if his guess about the Azure Material was correct…

This speed gave rise to a view that was beyond Jia Yan's imagination!

Bang!

A loud noise erupted.

Something that looked like a ring appeared near Jia Yan's compound eyes.

Jia Yan just saw it momentarily.

Afterwards, this ring-like dust formed a circular ring around his body and quickly dispersed in the air!

"What the!

Was that a sonic boom?!

Does that mean I've broken the sound barrier now!

This is impossible!" Disbelief filled Jia Yan's compound eyes.

To break the sound barrier, the speed must reach around one thousand two hundred kilometers per hour.

When an individual surpasses the speed of sound, the sound is definitely very intense.

Moreover, under certain specific weather conditions, the air around them will compress the water vapor in the atmosphere, causing a sonic boom cloud similar to the one just now!

A few days ago, Jia Yan was in an aerial battle with two fighter jets while undergoing mutation.

At that time, his maximum speed was eight hundred and fifty kilometers per hour, which was very fast, but still far from the sound-breaking one thousand two hundred kilometers per hour.

But what he didn't expect was that after completing this round of mutation, he managed to break the sound barrier immediately!

What's more, he felt that his wings didn't exert that much force, he reached the current speed effortlessly!

He was just trying to induce the Azure Material and unexpectedly, he broke the sound barrier!

Another update is coming.

Chapter 178 - 178 13 Speed of 1800 kilometers per hour

![Seeking Subscription]_1 178: Chapter 13: Speed of 1800 kilometers per hour?

![Seeking Subscription]_1 How fast must it be at full speed!

"This…" Jia Yan was astonished.

He understood clearly that breaking the sound barrier might not seem overly fast to a regular fighter jet, as the F-15J he dealt with not long ago theoretically reached top speeds of up to 2,700 kilometers per hour.

Compared to this terrifying speed, 1,200 kilometers per hour was nothing special.

But still, Jia Yan wasn't at full speed either.

He could even feel that he was barely able to sustain this speed, maintaining it for at least half an hour of cruising flight!

It's known that regular aircraft fly at speeds close to the speed of sound, such as 900 kilometers per hour.

Not because they can't fly faster, but because breaking the sound barrier drastically increases fuel consumption and wear and tear.

Therefore, even though most planes can exceed the speed of sound, and even fourth-generation fighters like the F-15J can exceed it by more than twice, their regular cruising speed is, in reality, just over 1,000 kilometers per hour!

Jia Yan was using his own power; as long as he had energy, he wouldn't worry about any so-called 'fuel consumption' problems.

"This is another advantage I have.

The only question is, just how fast is my maximum flight speed?"

With that thought, Jia Yan increased his flight speed.

What Jia Yan didn't notice was that, as he continued to exert force, a faint azure layer suddenly appeared on the muscles of his wings!

Whistle!

Whistle!

Whistle!!!!

The Big Mosquito's wings flapped even more fiercely, the noise resembling that of a jet plane echoing through the vast sky and shaking the wilderness.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

——

The body of the Big Mosquito, which was already exceeding the speed of sound, sped up again!

And the degree of this speed up was not small!

Jia Yan only felt that the scenery around him was retreating madly!

At this moment, he was still flying in the high sky more than 2,000 meters above the ground.

He just felt that this high altitude was the real place for flying, where the heart was exhilarated by the scenery, the freshness of the air, and the vast and empty surroundings.

This kind of grand, unrestrained flying style was precisely what he truly desired!

When his speed increased beyond the speed of sound, the land of the Wa Kingdom behind him was retreating rapidly!

Jia Yan could not estimate his own speed, only knowing that it was much faster than breaking the sound barrier before!

Whoo!

Whoo!

Whoo!!

——

The sound had not even formed 'near his antennae' when it was thrown to the back.

Jia Yan found that he could hardly hear any sound even though he himself should have been very noisy.

It felt as if he had entered a silent world.

The air around him was icy cold.

Considering the speed at which he was moving, the violent cold wind had left Jia Yan experiencing coldness beyond what he had felt at a height of 4,500 meters!

"Alas, it's still the temperature limit.

I feel like I could still speed up a bit."

Jia Yan felt quite helpless and gradually slowed down his speed.

During the slowdown process, he noticed something: where there was no sound beside his body, suddenly there was a sound – the sound of his wings flapping fiercely!

Then Jia Yan finally slowed down to below the speed of sound.

He flexed the muscles of his wings and glided through the sky, flying silently into the distance!

"Goodbye, Wa Kingdom.

I've completed my mission here, even though I didn't see your so-called Divine Object.

My purpose has been achieved, and the Divine Objects in both your land and in the subterranean world of Huaxia will have to be researched on some future visit."

Jia Yan's compound eyes reflected a far-off gaze, taking one last look at the land behind him.

He had experienced numerous events in the Wa Kingdom, killed self-defense force members and even destroyed two of their warplanes!

Of course, what Jia Yan didn't know was that his most 'significant achievement' was indirectly causing Mount Fuji to erupt!

And the metallic monsters released are still rampaging on the land of the Wa Kingdom, and for unknown reasons, these monsters have spread globally, although Jia Yan hasn't seen them yet.

The Big Mosquito took flight, and of course, this figure was also showing up on the Wa Kingdom's early warning radar!

"This mysterious object has left.

The speed is dropping; it's currently around 370 kilometers per hour," said the radar operator, breathing a sigh of relief.

If this enigma continued to penetrate the Wa Kingdom, he would have to report it to his superior.

They would likely have to dispatch fighter jets to intercept it or launch missiles or some kind of anti-aircraft gun for defense.

After all, judging by its speed and size, this object was no ordinary entity.

If it really were some kind of threatening weapon, defense measures would absolutely be necessary.

But now this object didn't continue to advance towards the Wa Kingdom, but mysteriously veered in mid-air, first breaking the sound barrier, even reaching an astonishing speed of about 1,800 kilometers per hour, before slowing down to roughly 400 kilometers per hour.

A speed of one thousand eight hundred kilometers per hour?!

What on earth is it?!

Thankfully, the object gradually moved out of the range of the Japanese island.

They could finally breathe a sigh of relief!

The war within Wa Kingdom had become rather intense, with the whole country, centred around Mount Fuji, almost turned into scorched earth!

If something were to approach Wa Kingdom now, they simply would have no energy left to deal with it!

That's right!

Within just one week, the kingdom had sustained heavy losses from the onslaught of the metal monsters.

Perhaps it's because this was the first place in the world where these metal monsters had erupted from, the number of these monsters in Wa Kingdom was now over —— three hundred thousand!

Three hundred thousand metal monsters that were impervious to ordinary weapons and possessed incredibly powerful attacks!

Even if these monsters would 'shut down' after too many attacks because they ran out of energy, if a metal monster doesn't make continuous attacks, who knows how long its energy could last!

Apart from these incapacitated metal monsters due to excessive attacks, the ones destroyed by Wa Kingdom's military forces were very, very few.

The total number, including those eliminated by both the military and the civilians through various methods, didn't exceed a thousand!

As for the number of the metal monsters that ran out of energy and became immobilized, it was estimated to exceed ten thousand!

Even counting those destroyed by the people of Wa Kingdom, the combat power lost by the metal monsters only made up one-thirtieth, there were still a whopping two-hundred and ninety thousand metal monsters waiting for the people of Wa Kingdom to eradicate!

But in reality, could they rid themselves of these three hundred thousand metal monsters that were rampaging everywhere in groups?

Unlikely!

Naturally, the people of Wa Kingdom didn't know that the peculiar being displayed on the radar was the giant mosquito monster that had caused a huge stir in Wa Kingdom a week ago.

Although the sensation it had caused back then was just a mere appetizer compared to the emergence of the metal monster army now, as a hot topic at that time, many people still remembered that giant mosquito!

Some even insisted that the 'beginning' of everything was due to the appearance of this giant mosquito monster!

Therefore, the people of Wa Kingdom had named this giant mosquito monster — 'Beginning'!

Of course, this was just the privately held belief of the Wa Kingdom's civilians.

They had no idea how fitting the word 'Beginning' that they casually chose was for Jia Yan.

That was because a significant part of the chaos in Wa Kingdom was caused by the giant mosquito monster that set off Mount Fuji!

From this perspective, one could say that the whole world's war was all thanks to this giant mosquito monster!

Of course, Jia Yan himself still didn't know about the drastic changes that were happening around the world.

Of course, even if he did know, he wouldn't think that his mistake was that grave.

He simply damaged a metal pipe and finished off a metal monster that pursued him.

He couldn't see any significant wrongdoing in that, let alone predict that it would lead to a worldwide catastrophe.

Who'd have thought that these metal monsters were so vengeful, launching attacks on such a large scale just because one of them was killed?!

Of course, beneath all the obvious evidence, there could be other reasons underlying these events, but those were all speculations.

The real reason, who could tell?

The giant mosquito was still flying!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Having switched to glide flying, Jia Yan discovered that even this passive way of flying allowed him to increase his speed!

It seemed that after the mutation, his body's shape was more aerodynamic, and his wings had grown bigger and stronger.

Even a gentle flap when the speed was dropping a bit could make it accelerate again.

"I can't tell how fast I was flying earlier, but now, I guess my speed is around four hundred kilometers per hour," Jia Yan guessed his flying speed while flying.

This speed was double his previous cruising speed!

And this was cruising, the most energy-saving way of flying.

Jia Yan could feel that if he was willing to spend more energy, he could increase this speed, even reaching a cruising speed of five hundred and fifty kilometers per hour!

At the moment, because he was using the least energy-consuming way of flying, he felt that if he had to fly around the globe, he could probably do it!

Moreover, because this way of flying wasn't really tiring and didn't consume much energy, he could possibly fly around the globe without needing to replenish his energy by eating!

That is to say, the endurance of Jia Yan, the giant mosquito, was sufficient to support him to fly around the globe without rest or food.

This was simply an incredible miracle!

Of course, given that Jia Yan had already become a giant mosquito monster and had become this powerful after the mutation, it was actually normal.

"There it is, the island where I hid my laptop."

Finally, after flying for a while, Jia Yan arrived at the small island where he had previously hidden his laptop bag.

This island was very remote and was originally inhabited by only a few families.

But when Jia Yan flew over this island, he saw that the number of people on the island seemed to have greatly increased!

These were the people who had fled here to escape the metal monsters on the Japanese island.

[Subscription Wanted] _1 179: Chapter 14 Want to Taste the Flavor of a Nuclear Bomb? Sёarch* The Novёlƒire.n(e)t website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

[Subscription Wanted] _1 "What's going on?"

Jia Yan certainly didn't understand the real reason these people from the Wa Kingdom gathered on this small island!

He only hovered briefly in the sky above the small island, curiously, before descending towards the ground!

The notebook was still quite useful, Jia Yan felt he couldn't give up!

Besides, even if he was spotted now, Jia Yan wasn't too scared!

If it came down to it, he would just have another fight with the Wa Kingdom's warplanes!

Now, he could say that he didn't care about anything!

Even if he couldn't win, he could just dart off into the sea, could they chase him?!

He was already able to breathe underwater, so if he dived into the sea, he'd be just like a real fish, he could even dive deep into the sea!

Once he dove hundreds of meters into the deep sea, or even deeper, do they have the ability to chase him?!

Plus, his instantaneous burst speed exceeded that of warplanes!

Not to mention, after his mutation, his flexibility had greatly increased!

With so much confidence, even if Jia Yan's current flight speed had not reached the limit of advanced human warplanes, he truly had nothing to fear!

Nuclear bomb?

If it's willing to use the environment and such huge destructive power to kill him, Jia Yan really wanted to try, could he survive a nuclear attack now?!

What would it feel like to be hit by humanity's most powerful weapon?!

Of course, this was only a thought Jia Yan had in his heart at the moment, he didn't intend to act upon it!

Defending against a nuclear bomb was just a moment's thought, he had no intention of killing himself!

Jia Yan's heart surged with heroism as he descended towards the earth.

"What's that in the sky?!"

"Big Mosquito!"

"Giant mosquito monster!"

During Jia Yan's descent, he could hear many people from the Wa Kingdom below who saw his form, crying out anxiously.

These people were not like those curious people fond of mysterious things a week ago, now they were very much afraid of monsters, some of them had even been threatened by metal monsters back in the Wa Kingdom, and barely escaped with their lives!

Now here they are in this seemingly idyllic path of the world, encountering such monsters, these people are almost on the verge of a breakdown!

Jia Yan found the attitudes of these people from the Wa Kingdom somewhat strange, but he didn't think too much of it and continued his descent.

At least a hundred people were present on this small island at the moment, with everyone rushing out of their dwellings, watching the giant mosquito monster descend from the sky with a gust of wind.

"This is a giant mosquito even larger than the one from the Bay War!

It never occurred to me that there are mosquitoes in this world larger than that one, what the hell are these monsters!"

Some people immediately recognized Jia Yan's true identity, it was none other than the type of giant mosquito monster that had made a big appearance on TV across the Wa Kingdom…

of the same kind!

No matter how open-minded they were, none of them would have thought that this monstrous giant mosquito was the one they saw on TV a week ago!

After all, the sizes of the two were too different.

The previous Jia Yan, although also known as a giant mosquito, was only considered huge compared to ordinary mosquitoes.

Yet his current body spanned two and a half meters, with a wingspan of more than four meters.

Its long six legs, when stretched out, covered a horrifying range of over ten meters!

This, whether to humans or other creatures, seemed like a huge monster, clearly unrelated to the previous giant mosquito monster.

If it was the same giant mosquito, growing to such size in just a few days would be terrifying!

The giant mosquito landed in a forest on the island with a howling wind!

"You young ones, go over there and take a look.

If you're detected, you can still escape with your speed."

"You old guys should take a look.

We're the future, don't ask us to die with you!"

People were dodging the task.

But while they were still avoiding the task.

A immense black figure rose into the sky!

The giant mosquito flew up again!

Deeply, he eyed the people of the Wa Kingdom below, a pair of compound eyes refracting the sunlight, making it gloomily terrifying.

The hurricane caused by the flapping wings almost made people unable to stand steady, several children around five or six were continuously retreating in the wind, two of them crying out loud!

These people from the Wa Kingdom couldn't worry about these crying kids at all, the crisis in front of them was too great.

They were all anxious, fearing that the big mosquito hovering perched above their heads would attack!

A giant creature larger than two and a half meters long and capable of deflecting bullets, just like the one that had fought with the police and Self-Defense Force, this was almost unavoidable fear for the islanders!

These people were deliberately making grimaces, yelling at the big mosquito in the sky!

Perhaps they thought that this would frighten it away!

But was Jia Yan a simple creature that could be scared away so easily?!

He did not plan to scare these humans, after all, with his current strength, it was unnecessary to intimidate them.

If he wanted to kill, he would do it straight away!

Jia Yan did not feel like killing randomly, he was just flying above the heads of these humans, at this time he really felt strange!

The gathering of people from the Wa Kingdom on this barren island was extremely unusual, coupled with their attitudes.

While Jia Yan could not see anything amiss at the moment, he felt that something was off!

Why did the Self-Defense Forces of the Wa Kingdom, who surely knew of his appearance in the sea, fail to dispatch fighter jets to intercept him?

Jia Yan's suspicions only grew with the subtly strange attitudes of the Wa citizens.

"Who cares about them!

The Wa Kingdom is of no concern to me.

I'm homeward bound to Huaxia, whatever happens next in Wa has nothing to do with me!"

With that in mind, Jia Yan ceased threatening the ordinary Wa citizens beneath him.

With a twist of his wing muscles, he soared up to the sky!

Whoosh!

The winds born of the giant mosquito monster's flight were incredibly violent!

Astounding!

The Wa citizens watched in awe as the giant mosquito monster flew off, leaving them drenched in cold sweat, speechless, and collapsed on the ground.

Ignoring what these people might think, let's shift back to the soaring Big Mosquito Jia Yan.

As Jia Yan flew through the sky, the scenery behind him swiftly receded like a receding tide!

For reasons unknown, he had an uneasy intuition as if something was happening.

These strange feelings of Jia Yan were perhaps gleaned from the expressions of the Wa citizens, which left him with a sense of foreboding.

He felt uncomfortable with these feelings and longed to return to Huaxia even faster.

Within Huaxia, the only people of his concern were his own family!

Besides, Huaxia was the place where he was more familiar, and most importantly, it was home.

Having finished up everything, it was natural that he longed to return to Huaxia!

The flight speed of the giant mosquito kept at around four hundred kilometers per hour!

Compared to his journey to the Wa Kingdom, the speed had doubled!

A journey that initially would've taken eight hours only took four hours now!

The difference wasn't merely the halved time, but also the perception of the journey's length.

An eight-hour journey was long, but a four-hour flight felt significantly shorter, despite the distance remaining the same!

Four hours was just enough for a round trip on the same day.

Given Jia Yan's current energy levels, he could easily make two round trips in a single day!

If he wanted to arrive faster, he could use the 'Sonic Continuous Flight Method'!

That method would cover five to six hundred kilometers in half an hour.

Perhaps just under two hours of alternate rapid and slow flying would be sufficient to cover the distance from Wa to Huaxia.

But of course, this method of flying was too exhausting and too taxing on the body.

Now was not the time to use it.

Jia Yan's flying speed increased once more.

He soared at a height of two thousand meters above the ground.

This area was not only good for flying but also offered spectacular views visible through his compound eyes!

In no time at all, the scenery behind receded farther and farther until the Wa island slowly disappeared from the horizon.

Only then did Jia Yan slightly ease up.

It seemed like Wa wouldn't be sending any fighter jets to intercept him anymore!

"This jaunt to Wa Kingdom has been worthwhile.

Not only did I manage the threat to the family, but I also saved two assassins.

That squares us!"

"Of course, the most significant gain was the Azure Mutation from this trip, raising my strength to a level I can't even begin to gauge!"

Jia Yan tallied this trip's gains.

Overall, the trip had been quite successful.

While he felt a bit of regret for not encountering the divine object of Wa, not everything in life goes according to desires!

Flying high, the Big Mosquito moved smoothly, producing only faint sounds when flapping its wings!

As the scenery of the ocean started getting monotonous, it became somewhat irksome.

The endless sight of the oceans caused visual fatigue and a slight letdown in the Big Mosquito's alertness.

Such high speeds accompanied by lost attention could be disastrous, and in Jia Yan's case, led him off course.

By the time Jia Yan noticed his mistake and adjusted course, half an hour had passed.

When he finally sighted an island, he realized how much off course he had flown!

The island ahead should've appeared on his left according to his original route!

However, it now appeared on his right, which meant Jia Yan had veered way off course, circling even below the island.

Thankfully, he had not strayed far.

The island was named Idiot Bend Island!

Thanks to his high vantage point, he was able to distinguish Idiot Bend Island from afar.

Although Jia Yan understood that given his size, he might have already been detected by the radar of the Idiot Bend Island, he did not wish to pass directly over it.

After all, it's better to avoid unnecessary troubles!

Upon sighting the Idiot Bend Island from afar, Jia Yan veered to avert the island.

Whooping past!

He had no idea if the islanders had noticed him.

At any rate, when Jia Yan passed the island, he encountered no intercepting forces!

Just beyond the Idiot Bend Island, an expansive mainland appeared before him!

This mainland was home to his ancient homeland – Huaxia!

Jia Yan slightly increased his flying speed.

Whether or not he returns to Huaxia doesn't make much difference to him.

He's just used to this country, and his parents are here, so it's normal for him to return.

Jia Yan planned to find a sparsely populated place in Huaxia to temporarily settle down.

He felt that his recent mutation would take more than a few days to adjust to.

Although his body was now more rugged, some parts had not fully achieved the effects of the mutation and would require time for recuperation and repair!

After all, his body was no longer that of the small mosquito he used to be!

Although his mutation had taken quite some time—nearly a week—it was impossible to completely transform his now vast body into a different form in just one week!

He needed a little more time to fully assimilate the effects of this mutation!

This is why he had given up on the idea of continuing to explore the "Divine Object" in the Wa Kingdom!

Even if he found it and got another chance to mutate, his body had only just completed its mutation.

It was impossible for him to undergo another mutation immediately, so he might as well wait for a better opportunity!

So, Jia Yan intended to return to Huaxia to recuperate for a while.

Once he had fully digested the entire process of this mutation, he would then think about further strengthening his power!

The vast land in front of him quickly magnified in his field of vision!

Jia Yan's compound eyes flickered.

As he was about to approach Huaxia's land, he immediately lowered his flying altitude.

Most military radars have a height issue.

As long as the altitude is reduced to a certain level, it can evade radar detection, allowing him to return to Huaxia's land undetected!

Jia Yan was a bit nervous.

He did not know if Huaxia had any mysterious radar technology that could detect his figure.

After all, his body wasn't small, and if there was advanced radar technology, he might be spotted!

Fortunately, his flight was still undetected this time!

Jia Yan flew back to the Huaxia land he had been away from for a week!

It was still afternoon.

In the southern regions of Huaxia, the weather at the end of October was still rather hot.

The scorching sun shone overhead, and Jia Yan, who was fond of hot environments as a big mosquito, felt extremely comfortable!

The smell of the soil in his hometown was delightful!

Jia Yan bathed in this earthy fragrance and the comfortably warm sunlight, flying into the coastal region of Huaxia.

The southeastern coastal areas of Huaxia have always been prosperous historically, and this remains the case in modern times. Searᴄh the novel(F~)ire.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Allowing his body to coast at a low altitude for a moment, Jia Yan flew into a forest!

He decided to wait until nightfall to act.

After all, the afternoon was a time of frequent human activity.

Venturing out now would certainly increase the risk of being detected by humans!

Not far from where Jia Yan was hiding.

There was a small coastal village.

This small village was fairly affluent because of its proximity to the coast!

However, in this affluent village, screams suddenly echoed out!

Accompanying the screams was the sound of a massive explosion!

Red light flickered!

Boom, boom, boom!

——

Houses were flung into the sky, debris exploded everywhere, and shattered bricks scattered all around!

The screams came to an abrupt halt.

Then, a not too large metal machinery slowly emerged from the rubble of the ruined house, shaking its four legs and stepping out.

This was a village that had long been deserted.

Although it might have been a prosperous place in the past, it now appeared somewhat dilapidated.

The once independent small western-style buildings in the village had become ruins, and the various licensed small cars were broken and parked haphazardly.

This metal creature looked very similar to the one Jia Yan saw in Mount Fuji's molten cave, except that the one under Mount Fuji had faintly glowing red "eyes", and this one did not.

That was the only difference!

There were no other metallic monsters with this one.

After briefly inspecting its surroundings, it seemed to realize there were no other living creatures near it, it began to move its four legs and headed towards the edge of the village!

Not too far from this place, Jia Yan, whose 'antennae ears' had greatly improved since his mutation, heard the distant explosion and alertly raised his head!

After waiting for a while, hearing no other sounds, he crawled back into a protective position, puzzled.

"It's not even the New Year yet, and people are already setting off such massive fireworks.

This truly is a Huaxia custom!"

Big Mosquito decided to take a well-deserved rest.

After all, having just completed its transformation and then undertaken such a long flight, it found rest to be of utmost importance.

Thus, Jia Yan gradually fell asleep amidst the sporadic sounds of explosions echoing in his ears.

He didn't even consider that these noses were not from firecrackers, but actual explosions!

It had been a long while since Jia Yan had last dreamt.

Although he was a mosquito capable of sleep, his slumber was seldom untroubled due to his constant state of vigilance and danger.

However, now that he had become so powerful, this was the perfect time for him to get proper rest.

To neglect this opportunity would be a disservice to himself!

Under the warm sun, surrounded by the fragrance of plants, and the light scent of earth, it was perfect weather for rest!

Jia Yan quickly entered a state of sleep.

The distant sounds of explosions continued to echo incessantly.

Just like other countries in the world, Huaxia was similarly consumed by panic and strife!

Not long after the so-called 'metallic monster crisis' erupted in the Wa Kingdom, Tumen City, located on Huaxia's northern border, was overrun by a swarm of metallic creatures that emerged from the underground world!

Upon seeing humans or any other form of life, these monsters would annihilate them.

The red laser-like weapons they wielded caused casualties with each bombardment!

The defensive capabilities of these creatures were outrageously powerful.

The majority of the weapons utilized by the military had no effect on them.

Although research had indicated that these creatures did have vulnerabilities, recognizing these vulnerabilities in actual combat was nearly impossible.

As a result, Huaxia was completely helpless against these monsters!

And it wasn't just Huaxia, the entire world was helpless!

The formidable defence of these creatures, along with the devastatingly powerful laser-like weapons they carried atop their heads, made them a perfect fusion of the strongest offensive and defensive capabilities!

They had an exceptional individual combat power and didn't rely on collective movements.

For reasons still unknown, these monsters would gather at a location for some time, then disperse, spreading their attacks and instigating chaos.

The Huaxia National Army had tried to capitalize on these gatherings by launching attacks using powerful weapons, a few days prior.

However, this tactic was utterly ineffective.

Due to the unique characteristics of these metal monsters, they rarely gathered in groups larger than a thousand in a small area.

Furthermore, a group of only a few could easily match the firepower of a hundred-man Huaxia Army combat squad without being at any kind of disadvantage!

If these small groups encountered formidable enemies, they possessed some kind of encrypted communication method that allowed them to summon more of their kind.

Thus, human combat squads could not engage these monsters in prolonged battles at one location, or they risked being overwhelmed by an incessant stream of these monsters, drowning any and all soldiers in waves of attacks!

The most significant military engagement in Huaxia took place two days prior!

At that time, more than three thousand metal monsters burst out from underneath a renowned natural cave tourist attraction, launching a brutal massacre on the unsuspecting tourists above.

At that very moment, a Huaxia military convoy, whilst en route to reinforce the northern frontline, happened to pass by the afflicted region.

The fully-armed soldiers hurriedly disembarked the train, ensuing an epic battle between a five-thousand-strong army and over three thousand metallic monsters!

This historic battle saw a total deployment of over twenty-two thousand Huaxia soldiers and over a hundred sorties by fighter jets!

The battle commenced during the day and lasted until the night of the following day!

The outcome was a complete defeat for the Huaxia National Army that fielded over twenty-two thousand troops!

Despite extensive bombings and airstrikes, only a little over three hundred of the three thousand metal monsters were eliminated.

Meanwhile, the Huaxia National Army suffered deaths and injuries of over four thousand soldiers, while the battle resulted in the obliteration of two cities!

The civilian casualties were countless!

A refugee crisis had begun to take shape.

However, unlike refugees from previous dynasties, these refugees had no idea where to go!

Countless metallic monsters seemed to have sprung up overnight in the Earth World.

Incomplete estimates put their numbers within Huaxia's borders at around two hundred thousand!

Two hundred thousand incredibly formidable monsters!

Upon learning this number, both the authorities and public alike displayed expressions of dread.

Based on the attrition rate of the largest battle, it was estimated that at least three million Huaxia soldiers would need to sacrifice their lives to eliminate this army of two hundred thousand metallic monsters!

Does Huaxia have such a large army?

That battle involved some of Huaxia's finest military units, fully equipped.

What would they do once the elite troops were exhausted, and the weapon quality degraded, in the ongoing war?

Furthermore, during that battle, the monster's concentration resulted in an amplification of the effectiveness of artillery fire.

What would happen if the monsters dispersed instead?
