The Dark Armored Giant Ape followed behind the White Fox Beast, circling the foot of the mountain for around forty kilometers, arriving at the other side of the volcano.
The trees here were somewhat sparse, and a faint dark mist lingered. Upon reaching this spot, the White Fox Beast slowed its steps and uttered a low call towards the Dark Armored Giant Ape behind it.
Seeing this, the Dark Armored Giant Ape nodded slightly to indicate understanding.
The two giant beasts proceeded into the depths of the forest and soon arrived at a hill several hundred meters high, whereupon the White Fox Beast lowered its body stealthily and peered ahead.
Beside the White Fox Beast, the nearly thirty-meter-tall Dark Armored Giant Ape also bent down, sticking its head out from the edge of the hill.
On the other side of the hill was a valley, and at the end stood an ancient ruin, now only a foundation of piled giant stones and broken pillars due to erosion over time.
