Chapter 2 - The werewolf

The Legend of the Werewolf

In a small village nestled in the heart of Nigeria, where the sun dipped into the horizon and painted the sky with hues of crimson and gold, a legend had been passed down through generations. It was a tale of a creature, feared and revered, known as the Werewolf.

The story began on a night much like any other, when the moon was full and the stars shone bright in the night sky. The villagers were huddled in their homes, listening to the distant howling of wolves, a haunting melody that seemed to speak directly to their souls.

But this was no ordinary wolf. This was the Werewolf, a creature of myth and legend, said to roam the forests and mountains under the light of the full moon.

The villagers believed that the Werewolf was once a human, a man cursed by the gods for his wicked ways. According to the legend, the man had made a pact with the devil, trading his soul for the power to transform into a wolf.

As the story went, the man's transformation was not just physical, but also mental. He became a creature driven by instinct, a being of raw power and fury. His eyes glowed like embers, and his howl could curdle blood.

One fateful night, a young man named Tunde ventured into the forest, searching for a lost goat from his family's farm. As he walked deeper into the woods, the trees seemed to close in around him, and the shadows danced with an otherworldly energy.

Suddenly, Tunde heard a rustling in the underbrush, and a figure emerged from the darkness. It was the Werewolf, its eyes blazing with an unnatural light.

Tunde froze, his heart pounding in his chest. The Werewolf approached him, its movements fluid and powerful. Tunde tried to speak, but his voice was caught in his throat.
