"Looks like you and your husband had a big fight?" Finn Lewis asked with a smile.
"Looks like you really hope we did?" Evelyn Morgan sneered, wary of Finn's appearance, "People like you really embarrass men!"
"Me?" Finn pointed at himself and shrugged nonchalantly, "Society doesn't care how many good or bad things you've done. As long as you have money, there's always someone trying to cozy up to you. Calculating against you is just seeking some security for myself."
"Seeking security?" Evelyn laughed as though she had heard a joke, "Your idea of security is to frame me?"
"I really don't want to do such a damaging thing." Finn looked Evelyn up and down, then said, "Just spend a night with me, let me vent this resentment, and I'll let this go. Otherwise..."
Finn curled his lips, "Otherwise, more unexpected things will happen next!"
Looking at Finn, Evelyn now felt whatever he did or said seemed normal.
However, his baseness still refreshed her worldview.
