With each autumn rain, the cold deepens. After a bout of rain, the weather turned even colder. Holly curled up on the sofa, binging on dramas with the heater on in the living room.
She really felt very cold, and now she just felt lazy all over, not wanting to move at all.
She craved the crunch of candied hawthorn, the soft warmth of roasted sweet potatoes, sweet chestnuts, and steaming hot milk tea.
However, she didn't feel like moving at all.
"Holly hasn't gone to class in days. Could anything be wrong?"
Mrs. Hayes finished tidying up the kitchen and looked at Holly, who was nestled on the sofa, asking with concern.
Being not much of a scholar herself and having never attended college, she didn't understand if skipping classes would be an issue.
