Below these raptors lay a beast torn and mangled beyond recognition.
The beast was bait, a trap to lure these raptors into the encirclement.
The raptors let out sharp cries, restless and agitated.
Until the kobolds steadily approached, the raptors could stand it no longer, and under the lead of the strongest raptor leader, they charged at the kobold warriors in one direction.
The raptors' claws, sharp as small knives, fiercely slashed at the kobold warrior standing in the front, but the latter coldly pulled out a small vine wood shield from behind and held it in front.
The claws scraped across the surface of the vine wood shield, leaving deep marks while the tremendous impact pushed the kobolds back several steps before they stopped.
However, the rebound also caused the raptors to momentarily lose speed and agility.
