Deep in the mountain stronghold, Liu Two-Dog (once Crown Prince Liu Rong) raised a cleaver for the first time.
The one-eyed bandit pressed the pig's head down: "Two-Dog, steady hand, ruthless heart—one clean cut, bone and blood separate. That's joy."
Two-Dog's hand shook like a sieve; the blade only took half an ear.
Chen Piggy sat on the side, cradling Old Black and gnawing a duck leg, laughing through a greasy mouth:
"Your Highness, where's that hand that used to sign edicts? Bring it out!"
Liu Rong's face turned pig-liver red. The second swing split the pig's head clean in two—blood sprayed his face.
The one-eyed man froze, then gave a huge thumbs-up: "Motherfucker, born killer!"
From that day on, no one dared call him "Your Highness." Everyone shouted "Brother Two-Dog."
That night Piggy wiped the blood from his face and grinned:
"Two-Dog, with that stroke you'll carve men just as easy as pigs one day."
Liu Rong licked the blood off the blade and whispered with a smile:
"I was never human. I'm a dragon."
