The sounds of birds chirping ring through the skies. The large, wooden castle door creaks open as four new gem holders sprint in.
A mysterious man with dark hair and a tall stature stands in the center of the room. Behind him sits a grand throne and bright candlelights above illuminate the room. His gaze turns towards the new gem holders.
The man says, "Oh, it's you guys. It seems you all have finally arrived. What took you so long?" A red haired boy, clenching his hands nervously replies, "Um, my name is Aka, we've completed the trials to enter the Clan of Gems to become gem holders." It took a bit of time to get here today." A dark blue haired boy with excitement shining in his eyes eagerly says, "Hi Kuroi Sensei, it's me, Aoi!" Their sensei smiles warmly and says, "Hello my precious student." "Nice to meet you, SENSEI!," yells a boy in rough, cyan hair with enthusiasm. Kuroi turned toward him with a pleased look and a kind glow in his eyes. He says, "Oh you must be Shian, it's nice to meet you."
While a boy standing in the corner has dark purple hair and a strong build. He was called Tsuki. He remained quiet and didn't say much and just observed the situation quietly. After a brief pause he said, "Hello Sensei." Kuroi smiles and says, "Your name is Tsuki, am I correct?" Tsuki nods silently. Kuroi says, "Well then, it's good to meet you." Kuroi clasps his hands and addresses the newcomers. He says, "My precious students, I expect great things from you all." He says, "For your first training session, we will head upstairs and spar, so I can assess everyone's strength." The new students and Kuroi all head into a corner of the room and climb the long spiral staircase of stone twisting upwards. They arrive at the roof top and see the view of the city around them and are in awe of the vast area with the sun shining down upon the beautiful city. Kuroi explains the objective for their first day of training. "Now each of you will fight me taking turns one on one with me." He looks towards Aka and says, "Now Aka, come forth and we will see your true power, I want you to try the best you can". Aka smirks, "Watch me Sensei, I'll beat you in one move." Kuroi says, "Let's see it then." Kuroi counts, "Ready! Three, two, one, begin." Aka sprints forward, swinging his arms wildly, desperately trying to land a hit on Kuroi. Strikes flying towards the sensei, but none connects. Kuroi remains calm and composed and he effortlessly sees through his attacks and avoids them. He says, "I thought you were gonna beat me in one move?" "But it seems you can't even land a hit." Aka is feeling frustrated and grits his teeth in anger as he keeps missing his attacks on Kuroi and his breathing becomes uneven. Aka calms down and breathes in and out. He concentrates on his gem. He feels a slight crack appear in his gem and inside his body echoes a crackling sensation. He feels power surge through him and yells out, "BLOOD CUTTING SLASH!" Two bright red lines of blood appear right before Kuroi's chest and they explode and slash outwards. Kuroi shows a sense of approval as he watches the attack and smirks. He swiftly shifts to the side and the red slashes of blood disappear as they hit nothing. Kuroi is intrigued and decides to stretch a little. A faint smile is visible on the corner of his mouth.
