"Where is Tessa?" I thundered the moment I stepped my feet into Thomas' territory.
I didn't care who heard me. I didn't care whose pride I offended. My head pounded with rage, and my wolf clawed beneath my skin. All I wanted was her. It was a slap across my face, me, the Alpha of CrestMoon—having to storm another pack because they dared touch what belonged under my protection. And not just anything under my protection but my Luna.
The memory of that call flashed again, Sophie's trembling voice, breathless and terrified.
"Alpha Robert… they took her. They dragged her away. I tried…I tried to help, but…"
"Where?" I had snapped.
"Thomas' territory, The Crestwood Pack… the council meeting… she's in danger."
That was all I needed.
I didn't wait another second. I had stormed out of my office, grabbing Eric by the arm.
"Tessa's been taken."
"What? By who…"
"Thomas' wolves. Move."
