He rushed forward and swung his right arm at us.
We swung our right arm straight into his fist.

The force of the punch's colliding pushed us backwards. Our feet skid across the floor.

Looks like we got a pretty good power boost.
Kenju immediately tried to follow up his attack and swung his left arm.

We side stepped to dodge. He followed up his attack with his right arm.

Dodged. Using the momentum from his swing Kenju spun back and crouched down to do a sweep kick.

We jumped over it. Kenju shot up to uppercut us while we were coming back down.
We put our wrist together with our palms facing outwards.
"HJ Sugoi Burst !!"
A pink burst of energy shot out of our hands and blasted Kenju in the face.

"Hey no fair this is my domain expansion. You can't just start making up your own -"

We teleported behind Kenju and roundhoused him in his side in the blink of an eye. He went flying through the air.
We instant transmissioned ahead of him and kicked him upwards while doing a backflip.
Kenju went soaring straight up and we instant transmissioned right above him slamming our fist straight into his stomach.
We pummeled him straight to the ground.

The impact created a large crater.
Kenju laid on his back, lifeless.

His right eye began to glow a golden yellow.

A bright red laser shot out of his right eye and his body shot up. The force pushed us back.

A massive aura began to surround Kenju. He bit a piece of skin off from his thumb and cast his hand to the right. A giant sword began to form through his blood.
"I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD. UNKNOWN TO DEATH, NOR KNOWN TO LIFE."

The entire domain began to glow a bright white. The pressure from his aura knocked us back. The light was blinding. Then it was silent.
As I regained my vision I noticed we were somewhere completely different. It looked like a battlefield, with thousands of different swords sticking out from the ground. I turned over and saw AJ lying on the ground. We must have been knocked out of our fusion.
"I wasn't chosen to be the otaku hooper for nothing ya know."

Kenju readied his blood sword.
"It's over overthinking hooper. I can't keep this ability if I don't win. I can't go back to being some chud. No one will ever look down on me again... EVER !!"

All of the swords that surrounded us began to rise up from the ground and fly straight toward Kenju.

Blood began to spurt everywhere.

The swords continued to fly at Kenju, but the world around us began to fade.

We all left the court to grab something to eat while the next teams played their matches.

The second match was a bunch of pushovers heh. Nothing the ol Haister couldn't handle. Since I actually got to play that time I was able to bring my A game. And just like that we secured our spot in the Big Finale.
