Her smile was gentle,never forced,but always brief as if shared from behind a quiet glass wall. She comes from a branch of the Solburn family in Virelux prime city,a powerful Ascenders family.
Liana Virelith, Sarah's friend and the other twin flower of Springdale High comes from a lesser known Ascenders family. She has fiery auburn hair often tied in a high, slightly messy ponytail that danced with her movement. Her golden amber eyes shimmered with mischief and her voice seem to always have something cheeky to say.
Sarah looked at him with her pair of expressive eyes "Are you okay Aaron?"
Aaron not wanting to lose face,pulled a suave smile, waving his hand"of course…three laps?..not a big deal"
"Ok.. " She nodded, smiling warmly at him before proceeding to her seat.
Aaron was dazed, feeling as if he was floating on cloud nine when he saw her smile which was as refreshing as spring but the searing pain on his limbs and waist made him break out in cold sweat.
Liana chuckled and followed behind her friend clearly amused and a bit puzzled.
The young man hid a grimace and hurriedly went to his seat plopping down beside Ken who's being waving at him with a cheeky grin,while dropping his false bravado.
"Tsk…tsk..three laps,huh…the witch really got you on this one" Ken clicked his tongue with a look of shadenfraude.
Aaron glared at him and tapped another device on his wrist. A recovery serum fell out and he injected it while taking a deep breath.
"You say Aaron.." Ken started staring at the two beauties with shining eyes " The school goddess talked to you,do you think she's into you as well"
"Hmph , are you worthy? Just a toad lusting after a swan. I bet Sarah is disappointed in you." A cold voice rang out as the tall, handsome boy in front of their seat turned to give them a look of disdain.
"Hee…. " Aaron sneered and ignored him.
" Why? Are you aggrieved? Only three laps and you are such a panting mess,I can run 4 laps without breaking a sweat." Daniel said proudly raising his head high.
Aaron rolled his eyes and gave him a fake smile "Yeah, you can talk to me again when you run three laps with a 100kg weight on your waist and leg."

The whole class fell into silence when the young woman walked in,she looked about 28 years old. She has tanned and flawless skin. Her luscious black hair was tidy and her uniform looked prim and proper. She was a beautiful young woman with a pair of cold and unfeeling eyes and a restrained aura.
The students felt goosebumps wherever her cold gaze fell.
"What's the witch doing here." No one knows who murmured that but the whole class shivered as if recalling an unforgettable experience.
Her ears twitched as she raised an eyebrow. Her hawk eyes scanned the class and caught Aaron's hunched figure.
She narrowed her eyes at him as her cold voice rang out" You wanna go for another lap…"
He shivered and sat up with a hiss ignoring the throbbing pain on his waist while pulling up his lips in an ugly smile " Of course not,Miss Kate"
Kate turned and pressed a button and the holographic screen in front of the class lit up to show five bold words
"THE PATH OF SYMBIOTIC ASCENSION"
The whole class went into an uproar as the students chatted excitedly and their eyes gleamed with excitement and anticipation.
She raised her long, beautiful pale hands and the whole class quietened.
"What do you guys know about the path of Symbiotic Ascension?"

Daniel stood up elegantly,throwing a scornful smile at Aaron before turning to smile at the teacher "The path of Symbiotic Ascension is the path to power and supremacy in our Symbiotic Ascension era,which humanity has constantly improved and perfected on over the last decades,it has three stages so far." He paused and looked at his fellow students a bit proud of his knowledge but a quiet gaze from the cold-faced teacher prompted him to clear his throat and continue.
"The Ascendant stage where only one element and one soul beast is awakened, the Transcendent Stage where the second element and second soul beast is awakened and the Nirvana Stage which is the fusion of the two soul beasts to form a unique soul beast.
"Each stages actually comprises of 5 tiers ; The incubation tier, Awakening tier,Symbiosis tier, Manifestation tier and Ascendant tier."
"Good..I'm quite impressed by your in-depth knowledge" Kate commented with a deadpan expression and one can't actually see where she looked impressed.
"Hmph…that's just common knowledge" Aaron muttered softly under his breath looking at the proud peacock with a distasteful smile.
The teacher's ears twitched as she raised an eyebrow "Common knowledge huh…Aaron Wills, tell us about the incubation tier. "

He raised his head and replied with a confident smile "The incubation tier is the first tier under the Ascendant stage and entails strengthening our body in preparation for the awakening.
" Is that all?"
"Huh!..um..yeah..I guess." His unsure voice rang out and he heard a scoff from the annoying proud peacock.
The teacher ignored him and turned to the whole class"Is that all there's it to the incubation tier?"
The students were all quiet and even a bit doubtful except from a beautiful fair hand raised up in the air.
