Chapter 5 - Selviera

Negut glanced at the system notification, then at the dead icehound whose body was still suspended in the air by the thorned vine. A faint excitement flickered in his eyes.

"Don't destroy that corpse. I want it intact." Negut's voice was indifferent, yet undeniably commanding.

The vine slowly withdrew from the icehound's head and then…

Thud!

Its body dropped onto the snow, no longer moving. The green glow in its eyes had faded, yet they remained wide open, as if it still couldn't believe it had died so easily.

Negut turned around and saw the fading light disperse, revealing a breathtaking silhouette standing atop the crushed car roof.

She was 210 cm tall. A magnificent chest, a slender waist, shapely hips, and long legs with perfect proportions, not too thick, not too thin. Her figure looked as though it had stepped out of a painting, flawless to the extreme.

Because her previous clothes were too small, they had torn during the evolution process, leaving only a few scraps barely covering her chest and the place everyone knew they covered.

Her face was stunningly beautiful, with a cold aura that warned people not to approach. Her red lips were alluring, her eyes filled with arrogance and determination, and her platinum hair fluttered freely in the wind.

She looked at Negut, hesitation flickering in her eyes before she stepped down, slightly bowed her body, and spoke softly, "Nice to meet you. I am Selviera, you are…"

Negut frowned. "What did you just call me?"

Selviera bit her lip, discomfort and hesitation flashing across her face.

Negut's gaze grew colder and colder, so cold that Selviera shivered. It wasn't the gaze of someone issuing a threat, it was the gaze of a madman, someone who would do anything.

"Selviera, remember this… your life was given by me." Negut's voice was icy, filled with killing intent. "Your power was given by me. I can give it to you, and I can take it back."

He suddenly extended a hand toward her, a mad grin on his face. "If you don't believe me, you can try."

Selviera trembled. Her eyes flickered violently before settling into fearful stillness. She was afraid… truly afraid.

It wasn't fear of Negut's physical strength.

It was fear born from instinct, from the deepest part of her soul.

Selviera swallowed nervously, lowered her head, and stammered, "Ma… Master."

"Hm?! I didn't hear you." Negut said.

Negut was only about 185 cm tall while Selviera reached 210 cm, yet at that moment, she felt as though he were a giant towering over her, his gaze pressing down on her heart until it pounded wildly as if it would burst.

"Master!" Selviera took a deep breath and spoke softly.

Negut frowned but didn't respond. Selviera remained silent.

A moment later, he said carelessly, "Is that your attitude?"

Selviera clenched her teeth, feeling an overwhelming humiliation burning inside her.

All her life, she had never bowed before anyone. She had never flattered any man.

Yet now…

A woman once proud, once disdainful of men, had to bow her head and call a stranger "Master."

She trembled slightly but remained silent.

Negut snorted. "Hahaha… if you dislike it, that's fine too. Just make sure you can hold onto that pride of yours."

After saying that, he turned and began to walk away.

Selviera's hands clenched so tightly they turned pale, but when she looked at her flawless hands, at her perfect new body, she inhaled deeply and shouted, "Wait!"

"Hm?!" Negut stopped, though he didn't turn around. His back remained facing her.

Selviera walked in front of him. As if arriving at a resolute decision, she immediately knelt on one knee, placed her hand over her chest, bowed her head, and said, "Master!"

Negut's lips curled into a satisfied smile. He nodded lightly and said, "Yes. That is the posture a servant should have."

Selviera trembled slightly at the words *"người hầu"*, but in the end, she remained silent, as if she had already accepted that reality.

"Let's go!" Negut said with a grin.

Selviera lifted her head and asked softly, "Where do we need to go, Ma… Master?"

Negut smirked. "Obviously to kill the ones who forced you into suicide. You are my servant now. I will not allow anyone to bully you."

Seeing his smile, Selviera felt a chill, but she still nodded and followed him.

Negut didn't rush into the building. Instead, he approached the icehound's corpse and commanded in his mind, "Recycle."

Selviera felt puzzled and was about to ask something when the icehound's body slowly turned gray, petrifying as countless cracks spread across its surface.

Then… a gust of wind blew past, and the creature disintegrated into countless specks of dust, scattering through the air.

[Ding! Recycling successful. You have obtained 10 Repair Points.]

Negut frowned inwardly. *Only ten points?*

[Ding! Although this icehound was stronger than the four dogs earlier, it contained only a small amount of energy and had not yet produced an Energy Crystal. Please continue working hard.]

*Then… how many points do I need to buy one day of life?*

[Ding! Depending on the Host's rank and current strength, you will need 80 points for 1 day of life. Selviera requires 110 points.]

While Negut communicated with the System, Selviera quietly watched him in astonishment.

*This man…* she thought. *Is he an Awakened?*

*No. There is no Awakened capable of resurrecting others or granting special powers.*

Her gaze toward Negut now carried not only a hint of fear, but also curiosity, deep, burning curiosity.

Inside a large room.

Negut sat on a sofa, gazing at the bedroom across from him.

He had already changed into clean and flexible clothes. He did not know whose place this was, but it was clearly luxurious, its reinforced security door had been extremely sturdy.

But before overwhelming force, that door was no different from thin paper.

Even so, the room was empty. No food. No supplies. Only a few discarded pieces of clothing.

Negut's eyes focused on the status window before him.

Name: Selviera Sterling

Age: 28

Remaining Lifespan: 2 days 22 hours 55 minutes

Loyalty: 78

Talent: Venomthorn Swordmaiden – Rank A (0/3,000 Points)

Production: 50 Repair Points per day

Negut studied the panel and quietly chuckled.

At first, her loyalty was only 75. But before she died, he had given her hope. After repairing her, he ruthlessly forced her to recognize reality, raising her loyalty to 78.

Negut understood perfectly what kind of woman Selviera was.

Judging from her appearance and mannerisms, she clearly came from the upper class.

Women like her had extremely high standards, arrogant, dismissive of others, especially men.

Not every woman needed love or pampering to become loyal.

Some women needed money.

Some needed their desires satisfied.

And some like Selviera, only bowed before someone stronger and colder than themselves.

That was why Negut intended to slowly crush her pride and arrogance, turning her into a true servant… a slave utterly loyal to him.

Negut asked, 'System, do you have any other functions?'

[Ding! The System can repair anything, returning it to its original state or improving it beyond the original design. As long as you have enough Repair Points, you may repair anything, including a dead creature.]

Hearing this, Negut frowned, then suddenly picked up an empty plastic water bottle lying on the table. He smirked. 'Can you repair this?'

[Ding! Would you like to repair the bottle by increasing its quality or its quantity?]

Negut thought for a moment and then said, 'Quantity'.

[Ding! Please choose one of the following options:

(1) Basic Repair: Restore the bottle to its original state (0.1 point)

(2) Advanced Repair: Increase the amount of water inside the bottle by 10 times without changing the bottle's weight or volume. (1 point)

(3) High-grade Repair: Increase the amount of water inside the bottle by 70 times without changing the bottle's weight or volume. (5 points)

(4) Perfect Repair: Increase the amount of water inside the bottle by 150 times without changing the bottle's weight or volume. Water inside the bottle can be stored for 20 years without deterioration. (10 points)]

Seeing the options, Negut's lips curled into an excited smile. Without hesitation, he immediately chose (2).

[Ding! Choice confirmed. 1 Repair Point deducted. Remaining Repair Points: 9.]

Instantly, the plastic bottle restored itself to its original condition and filled itself with water.

Negut took a sip. The water tasted normal, no different from before. But the amazing part was that the water level didn't drop at all.

'Looks like… this little bottle can now hold ten times its usual amount.'

Yes. The bottle in his hand originally held 350 ml of water. Multiplied by ten, that meant 3,500 ml. He drank one mouthful, yet naturally, the level didn't change.

'With this, as long as I have enough Repair Points, I never need to worry about supplies again,' Negut thought, a satisfied smile forming on his face.

Just as he was enjoying his excitement, the bedroom door across the room opened.

Crack!

Selviera stepped out, wearing an intricately designed white dress.

Although it was supposed to be a long dress, on her newly evolved body it now looked like a short dress barely reaching mid-thigh.

Seeing Negut staring openly at her, Selviera felt a mixture of discomfort and embarrassment.

She quickly explained, "I… I have grown too much. Clothes for ordinary women no longer fit me."

Negut glanced at her long, bare, porcelain-white legs, and a greedy smile tugged at his lips.

Selviera shuddered when she saw his expression. She pressed her hands against the hem of the dress, trying to pull it down to cover her thighs, but it was completely useless.

"W-What… what are you looking at?"

The moment she spoke, Negut's previously indulgent gaze turned cold.

Selviera's worry deepened. Her hands trembled slightly, but she still tried her best to cover herself.

"Come here," Negut ordered.

Selviera bit her lip. She wanted to resist, but something deep inside her soul, an unfamiliar force, compelled her to obey.

She stepped toward him slowly, her cheeks flushing red, her eyes moist, making her look irresistibly enchanting.

Negut patted the seat next to him.

Selviera knew exactly what she was expected to do, but she remained frozen, resisting as much as she could.

Negut frowned, a cold smile forming. "So much pride."

Selviera glanced briefly at him before bowing her head, unable to meet his eyes. She stammered, "I… I… have had very little contact with men, so… I feel… shy."

"Ah! Then I'll respect that." Negut shrugged, smirking mockingly.

Selviera trembled. She knew exactly what his words meant.

In the end, she gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and slowly sat down next to him, but…

"Kya!!!"
