Chapter 6 - The Beginning Of The Real Torture

Chapter 6: The Beginning Of The Real Torture

Stefan

I could see the pain in Danika's eyes, so raw, sharp and almost unbearable to witness.

I think she hates Maureen more than I do which is very understandable considering the fact that they were friends.

"Danika," I said softly, holding her two hands in mine as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Trust me, I haven't forgotten. I just want you to leave everything to me. I don't want you turning into a monster because of Anita." I patted her back gently as I stare at Maureen whose entire body was trembling tremendously, her heart panting with labored breathing.

" It's time to let go of Danika. Leave it to me." I pecked her forehead and released her hands, then turned to Maureen.

I gripped her wrist and dragged her with force and headed straight to my room.

Maureen kept stumbling, her breath breaking in short gasps. She kept trying to look back at Danika as if expecting her to save her, but danika didn't move.

The moment we entered my room, I slammed the door behind us. Maureen jumped at the sound, almost collapsing to the floor.

"Please…"she whispered. Her teeth clench against each other.

"Shut up," and in a second, she fell quietly instantly.

I paced slowly around her, letting the silence suffocate her. "Do you know what your father did?" I asked calmly, too calmly.

"Do you know what kind of monster he was?"

Tears spilled down her face. "I.. I know but I didn't…"

"You didn't hold the knife," I completed the words with a smile lingering around my face. "But you lived off the blood he spilled. You stayed under the same roof with that monster. You defended him. You protected him."

"No!" She cried , shaking her head rapidly. tears spilling out of her eyes uncontrollably like rain. "I had no Idea, please believe me."

I stepped closer, she flinched so hard her entire body jerked.

"You want forgiveness? Redemption? Safety?" I screamed out the words, laughing so hard till I couldn't breathe any more. "But unfortunately, you won't find any of that here." My face changed instantly, into a coldly deadly expression

"What do you want from me?" Her lips trembled, her eyes glued to the floor.

"Everything your father stole," I breathed out the words like a refreshing exhale. "Starting with control."

I grabbed her wrist and dragged her deeper into the room, she struggled but wasn't strong, she was weak. Too afraid to put up a real fight.

When we reached the old armchair near the window,I shoved her down onto the floor with force, and she landed on her knees, weeping.

"Please master,"

"You're going to stay on your knees," I said coldly. "And you're not standing until I allow it."

My words made her eyes open, " for…for how long?" She stuttered.

"As long as it takes for your legs to shake. As long as it takes for you to feel a fraction of what my sister felt. Trapped, helpless and begging."

The next thing she did was to press her hands together, as if she was praying.

"But that's not enough," I continued. "You'll keep your hands behind your back. No support. Every time you drop forward or try to rest. We start again."

Her breathing turned fast, panicked coursing through her body.

"Please master,I can take any other punishment, but not this." Her plea made me laugh more, filling me up with joy. It's just so good to see Alpha Derrick's daughter begging in a helpless state.

"You will, or I'll make it worse. Perhaps I should have made you sleep on the grave where my sister was buried. Or I should have made you wear the shirt she wore that day before everything happened."

She groaned and raised her chin hesitantly. I leaned down, staring into her terrified eyes which were so painfully beautiful.

"This is the only beginning, Maureen. I haven't forgotten what your father did. I haven't forgotten what he took from me." She shivered at my words, tears falling freely from her eyes.

"And I want you to remember something," I whispered, twirling my hands around her face. "I haven't even touched the real punishment yet."

Maureen

The moment he walked out, the room went cold. Truly cold. Not because the temperature dropped, but because the only thing keeping me from collapsing was gone. His presence.

Pain crept slowly into my knees, crawling up my thighs, spreading through my lower back. My arms ached from being forced behind me. My knees felt as if someone had placed burning stones beneath them. I tried to breathe through the pain, but tears kept flowing down my cheeks, dripping onto the floor.

"How did my life turn into this?" I whispered softly to myself. Trying to understand the whole thing but I just can't seem to.

I don't know if Alpha Stefan is lying or not. But the look in his eyes doesn't seem like that of someone who's lying. The pain in his eyes looked real and Danika's hatred looked even worse.

Even if my father truly did kill his pregnant sister, it's not fair. It's not fair that I'm the one carrying his sin, suffering his sin even though he is gone now.

Why should I suffer the sin of my father? Something I have no idea of.

I tried to stay still, but every part of my body protested. My fingers tingled from lack of movement. My wolf whimpered inside me, too weak to do anything but cry.

The punishment wasn't even physical in the usual way. But it was cruel. Cruel because there was nothing I could do. And worse of it, I didn't even understand why he hated me so much.

I had no memory of my father hurting his sister. None. So why would he do something so horrible? Why would he _

Just then, a sudden sound made my heart skip. Followed by footsteps. Slow ones. Approaching from the hallway. My breath caught in my throat.

I can't tell who those footsteps belong to but it's definitely not him.

In a second, I heard the sound of the door handle, twisting and right there, Danika stepped in with her lips curled in distaste.

She closed the door behind her, leaned against it and crossed her arms.

"Well," she breathed in. Savouring the air. "Isn't this interesting?

I couldn't say a word. I could only look at her with anger. If there's anyone I should be scared of, maybe it's her.

I can tell she'll kill me before Stefan does.

"Already shaking?" She taunted. Her heels clicked softly against the floor. My throat tightened as fear suffocated me. She crouched slowly in front of me. Her face is just inches away from mine.

"Do you want to know a secret?" She whispered like someone who was about to give good advice.

" Stefan's punishment for you won't stop at knees and pain," she leaned even closer, her breath evaporating on my skin. "Because he has something planned. Something much, much worse."

My heart began to pound so hard I felt dizzy and dumbfounded.

"What…. What are you talking about?" I whispered with trembling lips.

"If he's planning to kill me, maybe he should just go ahead with that so I can meet with my parents in the afterlife. *

My words made her burst into laughter.

"Ohh Maureen…" her voice dropped with icy softness.

"When you learn what Stefan is planning

to do to you. You'll wish Damon had killed you the night he bought you."

She uttered, making my body cold.
