Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 — The CEO, the Duck, and the First Diplomatic Crisis

Takumi had just finished his infrastructure streak—the new agricultural rings humming, the hydroponics towers awakening for their first nutrient cycles, the automated ranch fields spinning with drones that gently herded magically domesticated beasts—when the system chimed with a tone he had never heard before.

A tone reserved for special entries.

A tone reserved for S-class characters.

[System Notification]

"Russian Female Executive has joined the Multiverse Chat Group."

Takumi froze mid-stride, a crate of medical nanobot prototypes hovering beside him.

Russian Female Executive?

There was only one person that title fit.

He squinted.

Then typed in pure instinct:

Takumi:

"Big Duck?"

The world paused.

In a skyscraper office in another universe, a cold, elegant girl with silver hair and a bad habit of overworking lifted her phone.

Then narrowed her eyes.

Russian Female Executive → Bronya

"(???) Who are you calling Duck?!"

Takumi dropped his tools and laughed so hard he nearly destabilized the auto-forge behind him.

He typed again, completely unrepentant:

Takumi:

"Knew it! It really is Big Duck!"

The chat erupted like an overloaded reactor.

1. The Chaos Lobby Opens

Fujiwara Chika:

BIG DUCK?? NEW MEMBER ALERT?? WELCOME!!!

Sagiri:

A silver-haired beauty…? From Russia??

Takumi-nii, explain!!

Akeno:

Ara~ what a charming title to greet someone with.

Himeko:

A Russian executive? Interesting.

Sounds like trouble.

Eu:

…Duck…

Zhongli:

Welcome, newcomer.

Please ignore Takumi. Most of us try to.

Bronya's typing indicator blinked.

Then came the most Bronya-like message ever:

Bronya:

"Your group's naming sense is questionable."

"And who is Takumi? Identify yourself."

Takumi puffed out his chest even though no one could see it.

Takumi:

"Leader of the group. Builder of the city.

Herrscher of Reason (but peaceful).

Multiversal landlord.

Occasional comedian."

Bronya:

"...Herrscher of Reason?"

"You're kidding."

Takumi:

"Nope. Full set, including the End."

Bronya:

"…Tell me everything. Immediately."

2. The CEO Reads Her Own Lore

Bronya was not the type to get excited.

But the more Takumi explained—the Cocoon, the Ruined Earth, the return of civilization—the more her cool composure cracked at the edges.

When he DM'd her the truth:

DM from Takumi → Bronya:

Your world is an anime called Honkai Impact 3rd.

You're… extremely important.

You go through A LOT.

Also, people call you Big Duck.

(affectionately)

Bronya simply stared.

Then typed slowly:

Bronya (DM):

"I see."

"And the duck part…?"

Takumi:

"It's the fandom. You can't escape them.

They love you. A little too much sometimes."

Bronya:

"…I will pretend I didn't read that."

3. Psychological Shock: CEO Edition

Bronya had always suspected her world was… odd.

People with impossible powers.

Corporations doing unethical science.

A certain ginger woman consistently breaking probability.

But learning she was fictional?

Bronya took it surprisingly well.

In a logical tone, she asked:

Bronya:

"If I am fictional, what of my future?"

Takumi:

"I can tell you… but it's traumatic.

Better you decide."

The chat held its breath.

Bronya:

"Tell me privately."

He sent the entire outline.

The losses.

The fights.

The inevitable loops of sacrifice.

Bronya read silently for ten minutes.

Then:

Bronya:

"…I see."

"I refuse that future."

"I will rewrite it."

Takumi felt a chill—both intimidation and respect.

This Bronya was the CEO version.

A young woman running corporations, dealing with real-world politics, ruthless when needed, brilliant always.

She processed existential crisis like a quarterly report.

4. The Group Introductions (Chaos Form)

Fujiwara Chika:

Bronya-san!! Are you really a CEO?!

Do you eat caviar? Do you have a bear??

Bronya:

"I do not keep bears as pets."

Sagiri:

Waaa… she's so cool and composed… like a heroine!!

Akeno:

Ara~ this balance of cold beauty and hidden softness… I approve.

Himeko:

Another Honkai-world girl?

Takumi's world is getting dangerous.

Bronya:

"Correction: I am only dangerous to incompetent management."

Takumi:

"So… 90% of your planet?"

Bronya didn't deny it.

5. Takumi Gives Bronya the Quick Tour

Takumi decided to show her a bit of his world—through a video feed.

• The great library-tree glowing like an aurora

• Chika doing water-dance training

• SEEDs organizing snack stands

• Automated ranches with magical beasts

• A shimmering energy dome protecting the city

• The vast green plains being terraformed

• The Void Arena floating in the sky

Bronya watched, silent.

Then typed:

Bronya:

"…This is the world you rebuilt alone?"

Takumi:

"Yep."

Bronya:

"I want in."

The chat exploded.

Chika:

ANOTHER IMMIGRANT?!

Sagiri:

Takumi-nii!! City expansion!!

Himeko:

Takumi… brace yourself.

This one is a whole political faction by herself.

Akeno:

Ara~ a silver-haired Empress incoming~

Zhongli:

This is… notable. Prepare logistics.

6. Takumi's Psychological Surge — "Civilization Acceleration Detected"

When Bronya said she wanted to immigrate, something pulsed deep in Takumi's soul.

The Cocoon stirred.

Civilization Level ↑

Projected Growth Rate ↑↑

Potential Honkai Integration ↑↑↑

A shiver ran through him.

Not fear.

Not hunger.

A dangerous mixture of ambition and joy.

Images flashed in his head:

• a high-tech research sector

• synthetic intelligence under unified arcane frameworks

• cross-dimensional engineering

• Bronya leading the technological wing

• a civilization built from the best of every world

• evolution accelerated

His fingers trembled.

He whispered:

"…With a Bronya, I could build the scientific foundation.

With a Himeko, the exploratory fleet.

With a Zhongli, the philosophical core.

With a Chika and Sagiri, the cultural heart."

He stopped himself.

The thoughts were intoxicating.

Too close to the edge.

He clenched his fist, muttering:

"No shortcuts. No forced destiny.

No empire of puppets."

The Cocoon quieted.

Barely.

7. Bronya's First Mission

Takumi went back to the chat and typed:

Takumi:

Bronya, before immigration unlocks, you can do missions.

I'll assign you one.

[New Mission: Analyze Takumi's Infrastructure]

Reward: 40 points

Objective: Identify optimization pathways.

Difficulty: Extreme.

Bronya accepted immediately.

Bronya:

"This is too easy. Expect detailed reports soon."

Akeno, Sagiri, and Chika felt chills.

Zhongli nodded solemnly.

Zhongli:

"A formidable one indeed."

Himeko added:

Himeko:

Takumi, prepare an entire department for her.

Takumi laughed.

Nervously.

8. Ending Scene — A New Era Begins

Takumi closed the chat and stepped out into the night, looking at the city glowing softly under its artificial stars. The trees whispered, the robots hummed, and the distant Void Arena pulsed with pale light.

He whispered:

"First Chika.

Soon Sagiri.

Now Bronya…"

He exhaled.

"My city… is becoming real."

A SEED bot rolled up beside him and chimed:

"Statement: Preparation protocols for multi-world immigration must begin."

Takumi nodded.

"Tomorrow," he said.

"We start Phase One: Civilization Integration Blueprint."

He looked up at the artificial stars—each one a seed of future possibility—and smiled.

This was no longer a dying planet.

This was the start of a multiversal civilization.

And Bronya Zaychik—cool, sharp, unflappable—was about to be one of its architects.
