Chapter 268 - Ch 268: Run Away

‎After Sanya got the materials, she told Ellie to connect with the sphere.

Ellie connected instantly. The sphere began floating, moving forward under Ellie's control.

As it approached the raw materials, they were sucked inside in the blink of an eye.

The sphere then stopped and returned gently to Sanya's hands.

She looked inside. A tiny dress was slowly forming within the hollow cylindrical glass core.

She waited expectantly for two minutes. Finally, the dress was complete—ready to be taken out.

This was the power of Sphera's technology. The versions held by India and other nations couldn't even compare.

Those nations had to manually feed raw materials into their devices. Sanya's sphere did it automatically.

It also took far less time to create the item.

Sanya said, "Ellie, give me the outfit."

The dress appeared in her hands—exactly the same as in the game world.

Sanya tried it on immediately. She looked in the mirror and murmured, "It looks even better in real life."

Currently, she had only create a normal outfit. Later, she planned to create something far greater: an all-in-one outfit that could function as armor, storage ring, weapon, and more.

She had gotten the idea from the xinxia novels she'd read—protagonists wearing robes that work as armor during battle, sleeves that stored entire world, or accessories that work as weapons.

Why settle for normal clothes when she could have something legendary?

But she dropped the idea because she doesn't have resources currently.

She then went to ask her mom and dad if they wanted to create their outfits in reality too.

She didn't consider Rudra—his outfit wouldn't fit him perfectly yet. He could make his later.

Sanya left her room and walked to the garden where her parents were resting.

When they saw her outfit, they gave her a thumbs up. It looked stunning.

Sanya asked, "Mom, Dad, want to change your outfits to real life?"

Kamal and Neelam shook their heads. They replied together, "Well, there's no need."

They didn't really focus on outfits anymore. They just liked their clothes comfortable. Appearance didn't matter much to them now.

But Sanya persuaded them. She said the game outfits looked good on them and would feel even better in reality.

They finally agreed after her relentless pursuit.

Sanya had already guessed they would agree after she persuade them, it never fail, so she had prepared their outfits in advance.

She took them out and handed them over.

Few Minutes passed. Both Kamal and Neelam now wore their game outfits. They looked very handsome and beautiful.

Sanya looked at them and nodded. Now it was better.

Just then Kamal asked, "Sanya, you should have heard about the Central Academy on the E.A. Network, right?"

Sanya heard the question but didn't reply for a second. Her mind raced.

After some internal thinking, she blurted out, "No, I didn't hear about it. Anyway, I have to go and do some work. So bye, Dad. Bye, Mom. Take care."

She turned around and calmly began walking toward the exit.

Inside, her heart screamed at her to move quickly. But she controlled her limbs and expression. She walked slowly, trying not to give away any hints.

Neelam and Kamal exchanged a glance. Kamal smiled lightly and signaled Neelam.

Neelam complied. She lifted her hand and motioned with her fingers.

Some distance away, Sanya—who was slowly walking out—felt her body suddenly lift into the air.

She realized what was happening. She immediately tried to resist, but she couldn't move at all. She was frozen.

After her struggle failed, she closed her eyes. She felt her body floating in mid-air.

Coming to a halt, she opened her eyes and saw her parents standing in front of her.

She gave a defeated smile and said, "Yes… I had heard about the Central Academy."

Kamal patted her head. Even while lifted in mid-air, Sanya was still smaller than her father, so he could easily reach.

Kamal said while patting, "Well, kiddo. You're becoming cunning. If your mother hadn't stopped you, you would have already run away, right?"

Kamal knew Sanya was stronger than him. If he had tried to stop her alone, he would have failed. So he signaled Neelam—who was stronger than Sanya—to act.

Neelam had stopped her easily.

Sanya heard Kamal but didn't reply.

She stayed silent, her face showing clear defeat.

Then Neelam spoke firmly, "Sanya, take your little brother Rudra to the academy. Apply for the Central Academy at their office in the world lobby. And don't try to run away. Otherwise, you'll be punished by floating in mid-air without moving your limbs for five days straight—no eating, no playing."

Even if the punishment sounded extreme, it wasn't really.

Sanya was a cultivator now. Even not eating for twenty days wouldn't harm her.

The real punishment was being unable to move or play the game for five full days.

When Sanya heard her mother's words, tears almost welled in her eyes.

Now she had no choice left.

She decided to focus on her cultivation—to quickly reach Stage 2.

Of course, not to take revenge on her mother.

Instead, it was so she could create her own clones like her brother.

Then she could give the task of studying to her clones while she stayed free.

For now, Sanya nodded her head in surrender.

Seeing her agree, Neelam released the hold.

Sanya dropped gently to the ground.

The moment she could move, she quickly ran away.
