The female member just laughed lightly and then said,
"Sir Mordan, we are sorry to call for the meeting, but it was really important."
Mordan became interested. He leaned forward slightly and said,
"Tell me. I'm listening."
A male member—the leader of the Eurasian Union—spoke up, his voice heavy with worry.
"My country needs your help. As you know, my country is famous for its cold temperatures. We have winter in almost every season."
Mordan nodded. He knew that well. The Eurasian Union was located in one of the coldest regions on Earth.
The Eurasian leader continued,
"So the problem started because of that. After the magic energy appeared, the cold in my country is slowly rising. And now the cold has become unbearable. We can't even go outside the house without wearing more than four layers of clothes."
Mordan nodded again.
"Yes, it is a problem. We are also going to face it this year. I don't know how we will handle it. I'm thinking of using the game—all my citizens can go into the game world and work there. Their real bodies can stay home, where we can use heating technology. Robots can deliver food and items."
The others nodded, agreeing.
"It's a good idea."
But the Eurasian Union leader shook his head slowly.
"But it's not a long-term solution. We can't just tell our citizens to always stay locked inside their houses. They need fresh air, sunlight, and nature. I don't want my next generation to never even experience the outside world."
Mordan looked at him steadily.
"So what are your thoughts?"
He also glanced at the other two people. They were watching the Eurasian leader closely, waiting for his answer. They only knew the information up to now—they didn't know what he was planning to propose.
The Eurasian leader took a slow breath and finally said,
"I want to ask for your help with a special project. We have a plan to build massive climate domes—huge sealed cities that can control temperature, air, and light inside. I was thinking of deploying a shield around the cities, so people can at least travel inside safely. The shield will protect them from the cold and will also keep nature intact."
These words stunned the three people.
It wasn't that they hadn't thought about climate domes or shields before.
The reason for their stunned expressions was different—they were shocked because the Eurasian leader knew perfectly well that creating such a shield was impossible with current technology.
Yet he still suggested it.
Mordan spoke gently.
"You know that with our current technology, it's not quite possible to create it. Yes, we can do it later… but currently it's not possible."
The other two leaders nodded in agreement.
"Yes, it's too advanced. We don't have the materials or energy systems to make a stable shield like that yet."
But the Eurasian Union leader just shook his head slowly.
"I know it's not possible with our current technology. The reason I said this is because…"
He stopped mid-sentence. The others looked at him curiously and urged him to continue.
He then continued, but in a different way.
"Let me ask you a question. Currently on Earth, who has the most powerful technology?"
All three answered at the same time.
"Of course, it's the Eternal Ascendancy game."
Creating a VR world and so many amazing things—there was no comparison, no one even close. No one dared to claim they were ahead.
Mordan's mind clicked. He asked,
"So are you telling us to ask them about their technology and let them help us?"
The other two also looked at the Eurasian Union leader, curious. But they were more doubtful. They didn't think the game company would share its technology. And even if they did, they would likely demand something astronomically high.
The Eurasian leader could guess their thoughts. He said,
"Well, you don't have to ask them about their technology. I got something else."
All three looked at him curiously, telling him to continue.
He then said,
"I accidentally let my worries be heard by my Concord special AI. I thought nobody would listen, so I spoke out loud. But the AI listened and told me it can help me create the shield around the cities."
The three of them were surprised when they heard this function of the AI. They had thought it could only help manage the Concord—they didn't know it could also help with other things.
The male member from Galia Dominion asked,
"So why did you call the meeting? If it can help, you should take it."
But he shook his head and said,
"Well, the AI also said it will take time. The AI can only build the blueprint and give guidance. The rest of the work has to be done by us. And the AI will help us free of cost, but the rest of the work will demand a very high price. And I alone can't bear it. So I came to ask for your help.
I am thinking we should create an organization together so we can focus more on this project and pool our resources.
And it's not just to help me—your countries can also use it to defend against beasts and other dangerous things."
The three of them began thinking in their minds: should they accept it?
Mordan made his decision quickly. He said,
"I agree."
Seeing Mordan, the other two also said,
"We also agree."
The Eurasian Union leader became happy hearing this. He thanked them for agreeing to him.
He then said goodbye and vanished from the room. The other two also vanished.
They were just projections of them. They were still in their own countries, thousands of kilometers away.
Mordan also stood up from his place and went back to his work.
