Chapter 238 - Ch 238: It's not Free

‎Mordan had been hoping—quietly, desperately—that Sir Heart would keep the special sect lobby exclusive. Only India. Only his country. No other nations allowed to open one, no one else granted the power to build inside the game world.

But now he could see it clearly.

Sir Heart wasn't going to do that.

He would give permission to other countries too. They would open their own sect lobbies. Recruit. Train. Expand.

Mordan exhaled slowly.

He murmured to himself,

"Well… it's okay. We still have the lead.

If Sir Heart hadn't given permission to the others, they would have targeted us even harder. They might have banned the game in their countries completely—so India couldn't send spies. The game would have fewer players. Fewer recruits. And more importantly… it would have left a bad impression in Sir Heart's eyes."

He shook his head slightly.

"Everything has its pros and cons…"

Saying this, he straightened his coat and returned to the meeting room.

Umang looked up immediately.

"Sir, you finally came. Why did it take so long?"

Umang knew Mordan had gone to speak with Sir Heart. But the conversation shouldn't have taken this much time. Were they just chatting casually? Was Sir Heart really that free?

He had no idea that Mordan had just discussed something that would change the entire world.

The other people in the room didn't know about the call. They simply assumed the Prime Minister had an upset stomach and needed time to refresh himself. But even they were puzzled.

Sir mordan is a cultivator. How could he have an upset stomach?

No one dared ask directly.

Mordan didn't reply to Umang. He gave a small nod of apology to the room, sat back down in his chair, and immediately began putting everything he had just learned into action.

His voice was calm, but carried a new weight.

"Everyone, I just received important news. The game—Eternal Ascendancy—is not just a game. It is the future. Humanity's vast future."

The room went completely silent.

Everyone stared at him.

Just moments ago they had been discussing how the game was draining manpower and weakening real-world development. Now suddenly it was being called the future?

Some ministers exchanged glances, thinking:

If the game is our future… then our future looks bad. People will become lazy. They'll just play to earn money and ignore real progress.

They shook their heads slightly, disappointed in Mordan. But they didn't speak up. He had given them so much help before—they would forgive this and suggest alternatives later.

Just as they were about to offer some suggestions to Mordan, he began speaking again.

The more he spoke, the more stunned everyone in the room became.

"The game can help us by…"

Mordan explained everything he had just learned from Sir Heart—calmly, clearly, without exaggeration.

The ministers and military leaders listened in complete silence. All of them were absolutely loyal. So there was no problem telling them. They knew about the cultivation system. They knew that only by following Mordan would they continue walking the path—receiving pills, guidance, and access to higher stages. Betraying him meant losing everything. They also feared him—not just because of his power, but because they knew someone far stronger stood behind him.

When Mordan finished, he turned to Umang.

"Umang, you are responsible for this. First, contact the game company through their official page. Then connect them to me."

Umang nodded quickly and began making calls on his phone.

Meanwhile, Heart Clone—who was currently building a fortress with the other two clones—smiled to himself as he worked.

"Hmm… my selling skills are really top-notch. I got a customer for the game in such a short time."

He wasn't giving the special sect lobby, AI, scanning device, or any of it for free.

Just like always—he would exchange them.

But for what?

Simple: money.

Funds.

If Mordan and India wanted a special sect lobby, they had to pay.

If they wanted a special AI (an extension of Sphera herself), they had to pay.

Labs, official buildings, real-life equipment duplicates inside the game—they had to pay.

And the moment governments started paying, the game economy would finally start running properly.

Right now, players couldn't exchange game currency for real money.

Why?

Because the game had no real-world funds to give out.

But once nations and organizations poured in funds—real money—the reserves would fill.

Players could then cash out legitimately.

Later, full real-money exchange would become possible.

He knew governments would resist at first.

They wouldn't want private digital currency competing with their own.

But he would give them things they couldn't refuse.

They would come into the game themselves.

Integrate with it.

Depend on it.

And slowly… the game would become part of the real world.

Heart Clone thought quietly.

"But it's surprising… the things Sphera was going to announce in a few days, I've already said now."

The ten-day waiting period Sphera had given to nations and organizations wasn't random.

It was the time for Ether Clone to contact them through CEO Li—quietly discuss how they could use the game as a real parallel world.

Ether clone had already planned to create a true game economy after those ten days.

He had told players to wait for cash exchange.

He had given nations and organizations ten days so they can get familiar with the game.

But Mordan had asked first.

It wasn't a problem.

Actually, it was good.

Ether Clone had given them ten days so the world could slowly adapt to the game.

But surprisingly, the world adapted in just five days.

And he had more ways to collect funds.

They would be revealed slowly.
