Chapter 190 - Ch 190: Join Me, Umang

‎Then Fory Li awoke from his thinking and looked at them, but he didn't say anything about disrespect. He just questioned, "Sir, what do you mean an update unseen in history? And you still didn't tell me who you are?"

But this time, before the masked person could say anything, the middle-aged man said, "Just contact your previous owners and say Umang has come. They will tell you about me. And this person here is Sir Heart, the new owner you were talking about."

Then he glanced at Ubao and said, "And yeah, Sir Heart here can fire you."

His words paused the mouths of all present. Their minds ran with only one sentence: This masked person is our new boss!

Ubao, on the other hand, felt like he had stepped on a landmine with his own will. He regretted it now—his words, his actions… Even if this masked person, or potentially the new owner, had forgiven him, it left a bad impression. He just began hoping that all of this was just a lie, not true.

Fory Li also adjusted his posture a little and said respectfully to the masked person, "Sir, please wait a minute. I just have a call to make."

He waited for the answer of Ether Clone. He looked at his face, then saw the masked person nodding his head. He quickly ran to the small table nearby, lifted his phone, and dialed the number. After he explained the situation here to them, he heard a single answer:

"Sir Umang is related to your new owner."

Then the call cut. Fory Li slid his phone into his pocket and just glanced at Ubao. With just this glance, Ubao understood that he was gone.

Shaking his head, Fory Li took measured steps toward the Ether Clone.

The other employees who had also noticed this shift understood that this was really the new owner. Gyumi and Jin quickly let go of Ubao and began to correct their hair, ties, and collars, suddenly self-conscious.

Fory Li reached the Ether Clone and said with a respectful smile, "Sorry sir, we didn't recognize you earlier. Forgive our mistakes."

The other employees also greeted him in unison, bowing slightly or nodding respectfully.

Only Ubao stood like a statue, face pale, eyes fixed on the floor.

Fory Li and the others looked at Ubao, unsure what to say. They only looked toward the masked person, waiting.

The masked person—Ether Clone—looked at them, then turned his gaze to Ubao.

"You are not getting fired or anything. Don't be so sad. Just don't do this in the future without knowing anything."

Ubao, who had been staring at the ground, heard this sentence. His eyes became emotional. A little tear slipped from the corner of his eye. He looked up at the person in front of him and said while bowing his head deeply, "Sorry sir, really sorry. I will not do this again."

Ether Clone just smiled a little beneath his mask. He had sensed that Ubao truly regretted his actions, so he forgave him. It wasn't a serious crime or anything—just a moment of hot-headedness.

Then Fory Li spoke up, voice careful but hopeful.

"Sir, should we now announce that the game is having a big update unseen in history?"

This question was also a subtle way to ask where the update materials were coming from.

So Ether Clone replied calmly, "Yes, announce it. And don't worry about other things—I will take care of it. And for now, listen to me. Quickly call all the other employees or staff, even if they are on leave. Call them immediately. I have something to announce. And they—and all of you present—have to make a decision then. Go, go now."

Saying this, he simply sat down in the CEO's chair silently.

Fory Li and the others in the room quickly moved to their work—phones out, calls being made, messages flying.

Ether Clone then looked at Umang.

"Umang, come sit here. Why are you standing like that?"

Umang just laughed lightly and said, "Sir, I just wanted to show them who is the leader here and how to respect the leader."

Ether Clone just smiled a little. He liked Umang.

He then waved his hand, and several dishes appeared on the table—steaming hot, fragrant, each one looking more beautiful than the last. The aroma filled the room instantly, rich and inviting, making umang mouth water.

He said to Umang, "Join me."

Umang saw the dishes—each one exquisite, perfectly arranged, colors vibrant and scents divine. Just looking at them made him want to devour everything. He rejoiced in his heart: Only I am lucky enough to eat food with Sir Heart. Even Sir Mordan and General Amit only got fruit and tea.

Umang sat down eagerly and started eating.

While eating, Umang asked cautiously, "Sir, what are you going to tell those employees?"

Ether Clone just said, "Wait until then."

Umang nodded his head quickly. He dared not say anymore, fearing it would displease Sir Heart.

The outside of room continued to buzz with quiet urgency—phones ringing, voices murmuring as employees were summoned. The Ether Clone ate slowly, calmly, as if nothing in the world could rush him.

Umang ate in respectful silence, stealing glances at ether clone.

Outside the door, footsteps began to approach.
