Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: World-famous Painting: "Morgan Bathing"

After it was over, a [Bad End] reminder popped up.

However, the woman's gentleness when she held him in her arms, and the excellent experience brought by her enticing body, no matter how he looked at it, it did not seem like something that would trigger a "bad ending."

'Could it be that after the plot of [the White Dragon's death], the sister's personality became gentler?'

Morgan tilted her head slightly and said, "Are you referring to the time I gave you the 'Fate Contract EX' and told you to deal with Lily?"

Alvin hesitated for a moment, then silently nodded.

For an instant, Alvin seemed to see some of the light in Morgan's eyes fade, her beautiful eyes growing a little dimmer.

But just when he silently thought something was wrong, she raised a hand and gently stroked the boy's cheek.

"Actually, I thought it over carefully later. If you had really followed my words back then and dealt with Lily, I might not have been that happy."

To Morgan, Alvin had once been a "light." If that light had dimmed because of it, she might not have been pleased.

She wanted to be with Alvin forever, but she also did not want him to betray his original intentions because of her. This was what Morgan le Fay had always been conflicted about.

During the years Alvin was gone, she too had repeatedly pondered one question.

If Alvin had chosen her between her and Artoria, would she really be happy?

At first Morgan's temptation of Alvin was purely to take revenge on her sister.

But after she fell for Alvin, Morgan's mindset changed.

"I think this is the entanglement of feelings," Morgan said with a hint of softness in her voice.

While they spoke, they had unknowingly arrived at a cool, quiet bedchamber.

Although a great battle had just taken place not long ago, she still had the leisure to stroll through the palace with Alvin. Looking across the world, probably only Morgan le Fay would do such a thing.

"Is this where Lily has been living these past few years?"

Morgan looked around the gilded bedchamber and casually asked, "Did you come here after you returned to the palace?"

Alvin's heart stirred. He thought that question sounded more like, 'After you came back, did you and Lily do anything improper?'

Yet while Alvin remained silent, Morgan, as if she had guessed something, let a charming smile bloom on her face.

"Wait for me here."

After saying that, Alvin saw her walk alone into the depths of the bedchamber, making not a sound.

He instinctively glanced at the small, exquisite feet revealed under Morgan's skirt.

He had never known before that the sister didn't like to wear shoes?

Splash!

While Alvin's mind was still drifting through these messy thoughts, he vaguely heard the sound of running water from inside the bedchamber.

He looked up without thinking, and his body stiffened.

In the bathroom at the end ahead, steam drifted.

Through the mist, a seductive, graceful figure vaguely appeared in view.

Alvin's expression changed subtly.

'Morgan is taking a bath?'

———

[Camelot Palace]

[The Royal Hall]

The hall's decorations were rather lavish and western in style. The floor was covered with soft wool carpets, and a large white jade round table sat in the center.

Six people were seated at the table.

The chief seat was empty. On the left sat a tall blond man whose temperament was full of the sunshine and righteousness befitting a knight; his facial features were like a sculpture and at a glance quite handsome.

The Sun Knight, Gawain.

Opposite Gawain the seat was also empty, that was Lancelot's seat.

The others present were also members of the Knights of the Round Table.

Bedivere, Kay, Lamorak, and Agravain.

There was also a traitor among the Round Table, Mordred.

She was not sitting at the table but crouched at the door, gesturing with a passing stray cat.

This slightly eased the otherwise solemn atmosphere.

The blond Sun Knight looked around with rare seriousness and slowly said, "Morgan's invasion, Merlin took the king to Avalon, what do you all think?"

"Kay, you speak first."

Kay raised an eyebrow and glanced at Mordred, saying, "Shouldn't we have first asked Morgan's subordinates to leave before this?"

"Also, why did Morgan know 'the Watchman' was still alive and accurately know he was in the palace?"

"At first only the king knew about this, did someone leak this information, which attracted Morgan?"

At the end of his words, his gaze inadvertently turned to Agravain, and he said, "I asked around. Yesterday Lord Agravain, while executing the king's orders, met Morgan and even fought her, didn't you?"

Agravain frowned tightly with a hint of anger, "Kay, do you think I reported to Morgan?"

"Not that I think so, just a guess. You are not the only suspect. Lord Gawain is also suspicious," Kay said coldly.

More than two hours had passed since Morgan's invasion. In those short two hours, Kay had collected and organized relevant clues.

His final conclusion was that someone had leaked information to Morgan.

The most suspicious of them were Gawain and Agravain, who had seen Morgan.

Agravain's face darkened, but at this moment he had no words to explain.

Although he wanted to defend himself, he could not find a reason to refute it.

Because in a sense, although he had not leaked secrets, he had indeed led Morgan to the palace.

Bedivere wore a grave expression and said, "This is not the time for infighting, everyone."

"The king is not in the palace. If we leave Morgan unchecked,.no one knows what she might do."

The weight of the name Morgan le Fay pressed like a mountain on the chests of the Round Table knights present, making it hard to breathe.

Morgan had committed many mad acts in the past to take revenge on Artoria. With the king absent from the palace now, who knew what unexpected madness she might do?

Even Merlin chose to avoid the fray, is there really anyone who can handle Morgan?

At that thought, the atmosphere grew a bit oppressive.

"If King Arthur were here, I think she would want you to do nothing, right?", Mordred, sitting cross-legged at the hall's entrance with a cat in her arms, suddenly said lazily.

Lamorak, who had been silent until now, snapped, "Mordred, do you belittle our chivalry so much—"

"Mother is taking a walk in the garden. If you want to stop her, you can go find her now," Mordred said indifferently.

Lamorak was left speechless and a little unsettled.

Morgan now controlled the "island power," her strength unfathomable. In truth, the fact she had not immediately swept people away already showed restraint.

Going to find Morgan now would be pure self-inflicted trouble.

"Now we can only place our hope on Alvin," Agravain suddenly sighed.

Lamorak frowned slightly, "Although I trust his strength, can he defeat Morgan?"

No one answered.

Only recalling the scene at the palace gate just now, everyone wore odd expressions.

In Britain, if anyone could truly defeat Morgan, it was probably only Alvin.

———

Alvin never thought the sound of bathing would be so pleasant.

With an astonished look, he looked up at the hazy scene in the bathroom and showed the most brilliant expression of his life.

Even in the CG recollections Alvin had in the past, he had never seen such a tempting scene.

'Not only did she openly enter the palace, she is bathing in her sister's chamber. Bathing?'

'And at this rate it would be more than just bathing…'

"I remember the day Lily became King Arthur, I think I arranged to meet you here, right?", Amid the splashing water came the witch's lazy, pleasant voice.

Alvin recalled and softly replied, "Mm."

At that time all the Round Table knights attended Artoria's accession ceremony, only two people were exceptions.

One was Alvin, and the other was Morgan le Fay.

Morgan had invited Alvin then, saying it was to discuss something important. In truth, she wanted Alvin's future allegiance.

Unexpectedly, their reunion now would again be in Lily's bedchamber.

"Are you so far from me because you're afraid I'll eat you?", Just as Alvin's thoughts ran wild, Morgan's clear, cold, pleasant voice came from the bathroom again.

'Am I afraid of that? What I'm afraid of is that if Lily returns and finds us doing the deed in her chamber, you two will really come to blows.'

Alvin was full of the desire to retort, but still, as if guided by some phantom, he walked toward the bathroom.

However, when Alvin reached the bathroom, the sound of running water stopped.

He looked up and was stunned.

The magic under Morgan's feet had already woven a fresh, pure light-blue gown for her. Large swathes of white, delicate skin were exposed to the air.

In fact, this outfit was not particularly revealing, nor did it have the licentious concubine vibe of historical tales.

But, exactly this relatively conservative dress made her temperament soar. Water droplets on her skin were so crystal clear.

The Morgan of old had felt more like a seductive enchantress. Now she had only changed a dress, yet she looked exceptionally pure and stunning, while also exuding an inexplicable allure.

One might say this outfit was the true meaning of a "witch."

Under that fresh, pure aura there was still a tempting seduction.

However, only one person could feast his eyes on such a beautiful scene.

Sensing the boy's seemingly dazed stare, Morgan showed a hint of shyness on her face and a gentle, faint smile.

"Sorry... to keeping you waiting."
