I swept everything off the desk. Papers flew, pens clattered to the floor, and even my phone wasn't spared as it skidded across the room.
Oleander still hadn't been found.
It was already 9 PM.
I had organized search parties, sent the elite trackers through every corner of the pack house, combed through every corridor, room, and hidden passage. Yet no one had seen her.
It was as if she had vanished from the face of the earth.
What enraged me most was the sameness of their answers.
They hadn't noticed anything. They hadn't seen her.
Could she have suddenly developed the ability to disappear? A talent she clearly didn't possess when I was watching her every move.
I scoffed, dragging a hand through my hair in frustration.

He sat on the couch near my desk, legs crossed, calmly studying a map as if this were some casual puzzle.
