Rowan landed on something mushy and wet.
"Please don't be something gross...please don't be something gross."
At first her surroundings were just dark but then the shadows began to form shapes and things became clear as if she had just put on a pair of glasses.
"Huh, night vision. Nice!" Looking down at the ground she found what her landing pad was, soft wet moss. Relief went through her, it could have been so much worse.
A mist drited across the forest floor, clinging to the plants and leaving behind dewdrops. Rowan stood on wobbly legs noticing she was back in the clothes she had been in in her old world. Grateful she wasn't in a new world in unfamiliar wares she ventured further into the forest, searching the ground for some sort of pathway left by either animals or humans.
Tall evergreens stood around her as if guarding her entrance into the new world she found herself. She debated calling out into the forest, but ultimately decided against it. Not worth the risk if there were non-friendlies nearby, after all she still didn't know which world she had been thrust into.
The hum from the ground in the fae realm seemed to have followed her into this new one as she made her way to an evergreen her fingertips glowed as they pressed against the rough bark.
"Ok pixie dust still activated it would seem." Running a hand through her curls she sighed, "This will get some getting used to." She still didn't know what the extent of her powers were, or what her actual mission was. The fae had been very cryptic, she only hoped she'd have some more guidance soon and wouldn't be dealing with suddenly having magic powers all by herself.
The leaves of a nearby fern leaned toward her, no wind moving them and felt the bark beneath her fingertips ripple as if the tree had sighed with relief at her touch. She'd always had a bit of a green thumb, but this was a bit different. The forest seemed to...like her?
As she continued walking through the forest a breeze encouraged her tugging at her curls until she followed its direction. It found her a hunter's trail. "Thank you."
A helpful forest on her first voyage into a new world wasn't so bad.
A soft drizzle began causing her clothes to cling to her form as she came out of the forest and wandered almost straight into a vacant roadway. A tall green wood sign greeted her, "Welcome to Forks!"
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me."
She was in Twiliight. Sure she had knowledge of the world, who didn't even fans knew general facts due to how many fans talked about it on every sort of social media format. And yet as she tried to remember the details, they were fuzzy.
'Find Them...' Came from behind her from the forest.
"Right, I have a secret mission that I don't even know what...oh and don't forget I have three mysterious strangers that are waiting for me." Rowan let out a short laugh before saying in a deep voice, "And the plot thickens."
In the slightly panicked laughter that followed, Rowan tripped into the roadway only to see a pair of headlights heading towards her.
"Seriously! Not again!"
