Seeing this, Rowan was furious, his sharp eyes locking onto the widely spread wings of the bat. Using all his might, he threw the wooden spear in his hand like a javelin tearing through the wind. The spear flew whizzing through the air, accurately piercing and tearing a large section of the membrane on the bat's wing.
The giant blood bat staggered in the air, turning its head to stare at him with a look full of resentment and surprise, then struggled to fly away behind the tree line.
"Is this thing's scratch poisonous?" Rowan hurriedly ran over, worriedly pulling Owen's arm to inspect it. Blood flowed ceaselessly from the scratched area, and the surrounding skin began to turn slightly purple.
