Chapter 118 - Chapter — The Machine God’s Whisper

I had barely finished transmitting the Infinity Stone files to the rest of the Council when the familiar soft chime resonated through my neural interface.A system notification.

[SYSTEM SHOP HAS REFRESHED][NEW TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE]– Warhammer 40k: Adeptus Astartes (Space Marine) Technology Pack –

I froze.

For a moment, the air itself felt heavier, as if something ancient and mechanical was watching me from beyond the veil of reality. Warhammer tech wasn't like Star Wars engineering, Rick Prime inventions, or even SCP-grade meta materials.

Warhammer tech was theological.Half-machine, half-mythology.Designed for impossible wars in a galaxy crafted from nightmares and eternal conflict.

Slowly, deliberately, I opened the system window.

The interface expanded into a cascading display of blueprints, schematics, and forbidden knowledge—layer upon layer of sacred machine-god engravings, gene-forging technology, and weaponry so brutally overpowered that even the Foundation would classify it Apollyon if they didn't know its origin.

Adeptus Astartes Technology PackContent Overview:

Gene-Seed Engineering Suite(Creation of superhuman biology—enhanced strength, speed, size, durability, cognitive speed; immune systems beyond comprehension.)

Power Armour Fabrication Module (Mk II through Mk X)(Self-repairing ceramite plating, servo-assisted augmentation, life-support integration, psychic shielding.)

Bolt Weapons Arsenal(Mass-reactive explosive shells; armor-shredding rounds; multi-caliber bolters and heavy bolters.)

Plasma Technology Suite(High-energy plasma weaponry capable of liquefying most materials.)

Dreadnought Integration Bay(Allows creation of a hybrid man-machine warform.)

Thunderhawk Gunship Schematics(Atmospheric and orbital superiority craft with obscene payload capacity.)

Omnissiah-Grade Fabrication Rites(Machine spirit interfacing, psychic imprinting, logic-engine optimization.)

And lastly—

Primaris Enhancement Protocols(The highest-tier improvement program for super-soldier creation.)

My heart skipped a beat.

This was more than technology. This was empire-building condensed into raw, weaponized knowledge.

The system helpfully displayed the cost.

It wasn't cheap.Even for me.

But it was worth it.

Without hesitating, I purchased the pack.

A burning flood of knowledge tore through my mind—a torrent of machine-spirits chanting computational hymns, genetic algorithms spiraling into fractal perfection, blueprints unfurling faster than thought could process.

My body stiffened.

My breath trembled.

And then… silence.

A perfect, crystalline understanding settled into me.

I now possessed the sum total of humanity's most extreme militaristic innovation—technology designed to fight demons, gods, and the living warp itself.

I exhaled slowly.

"Machine God, huh?" I murmured."Let's see what I can make out of you."

I opened my holo-display and began sketching.

Foundational Astartes: Project VINDICATOR

I wouldn't create actual Space Marines—gene-seed was too bound to war, corruption, and religious dogma. But I could adapt the technology. Improve it. Rationalize it.

I designed a new class of soldier:

Enhanced physiology

SCP-resistant organs

Reality-stabilizing endocrine systems

Augmented reflexes and cognition

Adaptive genetic resistance matrices

Reinforced skeletal structures

Built-in anti-memetic neural filters

Not true Astartes.

Something better.

Something uniquely Foundation.

My new Vindicator Programme would create warriors capable of fighting extradimensional invaders, cosmic threats, and even reality-benders.

Then I integrated the armor schematics.

Project Cerberus: Power Armour for the Foundation

The armor would include:

Ceramite-titanium hybrid plating

Reality-Stone-enhanced micro-shielding

Built-in atmospheric stabilization

Adaptive coloration for stealth

Integrated communications and HUD

Psy-shielded helmets

Weapon mounts compatible with both SCP and Imperial tech

I could already imagine whole battalions walking the halls of Site 999—an army of Foundation supersoldiers, unstoppable and unyielding.

The First Prototype

I materialized the blueprint in front of me, letting it hover.

A towering suit—sleek, deadly, efficient.Black plating.Deep green lines of energy.A stylized Foundation sigil on the chest.

Not a bulky 40k relic.Something elegant. Modern. Dangerous.

With the Reality Stone, I could accelerate its fabrication—skip months of work.

And I did.

Crimson light surged around my hands as the workshop's fabricators roared to life. Machine arms moved with impossible speed. Metal warped, fused, refined. Components merged, adjusted, reshaped.

It took only five minutes for the first suit to be completed.

When it stood before me, towering and magnificent, I felt pride swell in my chest.

I touched the helmet.

"Welcome to the future."

Julius Contacts Me

Before I could begin a proper field test, my console beeped again.

Julius.O5-2.Sentinel.

His hologram appeared beside me, golden eyes flickering with interest as he looked at the armor.

"You've been busy," he remarked. His tone was amused. But behind that, I could sense curiosity—perhaps even awe.

"Warhammer 40k tech," I replied."The system added it. So I bought all of it."

He blinked."…Of course you did."

Julius walked around the armor, examining its lines, its weapon ports, the faint shimmer of Reality-Stone reinforcement.

"Astartes technology, refined through your mind," he mused."Terrifying."

I smirked.

"That's the goal."

A pause.

Then he added:

"You realize this changes everything, right?"

I nodded.

"Oh, I know.And I'm just getting started."
