Chapter 65 - The O5 Council

Two new seats had been filled at the Council table—two more pillars added to the slowly spreading web of power that would become the full O5 Council. And like everything within the Foundation, their addition was not just political.

It was strategic.Calculated.Necessary.

O5‑6 — The Sorcerer

Victor von Doom's ascension to the O5 Council was inevitable.

Brilliant. Ruthless. Efficient.And—thanks to me—loyal.

His work with the Philosopher's Stone had exceeded every expectation. He had reinvented its alchemical applications, opened dozens of new research avenues, and demonstrated complete control over Site‑19, one of our largest and most essential containment hubs.

Julius supported him.I endorsed him personally. And with those two political fronts backing him, the vote was a clean majority.

His codename—The Sorcerer—fit him perfectly. Doom mastered science and magic alike. He now oversaw the dark operations of the Foundation. Classified arcane anomalies. Occult weaponization protocols. Forbidden knowledge vaults. Ritual‑based countermeasures.

He was a perfect addition.

Powerful enough to be feared.Disciplined enough to be trustworthy. And aligned with my political faction.

The Council's balance shifted subtly in my direction the moment he took his seat.

O5‑7 — The Brain

If Victor was power incarnate, then the next addition was intellect distilled.

O5‑7 was not a person in the traditional sense anymore.

Their codename—The Brain—wasn't poetic.It was literal.

Long ago, they had been one of Julius's most brilliant tacticians. A strategist with near‑superhuman predictive ability. A mind that saw patterns and outcomes like most people saw colors.

Then they died.

A catastrophic breach. A disaster involving a high-level SCP. Their body was beyond saving… but their brain wasn't.

And I—armed with the intelligence of Rick Prime and more scientific genius than any sane man should possess—refused to lose such an asset. I rebuilt them. Preserved them. Enhanced them. Then integrated neural fragments from other deceased Foundation geniuses.

What emerged was not one mind. But many—harmonized into a single superintelligence.

Suspended in an armored jar, wired into quantum processors and psionic stabilizers, O5‑7 became the Foundation's ultimate military and strategic planner.

Cold.Precise.Brutally efficient.

They aligned with Julius, naturally. Julius treasured order and discipline, and O5‑7 represented the purest form of strategic perfection.

With their addition, Julius's faction gained a razor‑sharp edge.

Internal Adjustments

As for Cleopatra—well, she insisted on modifying her codename.

"The Treasurer" apparently wasn't stylish enough.

Now she went by The Accountant, a title she argued had more dignity, authority, and mystique. I didn't care either way—her control over the Foundation's finances mattered far more than whatever label she stitched onto the role.

Her political alignment remained unchanged. Her power base remained stable. And her irritation about branding was… mildly amusing.

The Council Evolves

With O5‑6 and O5‑7 brought into the fold, the Council now stood at seven members:

O5‑1 – The Administrator(Me)

O5‑2 – Sentinel(Julius)

O5‑3 – The Watcher(Darius)

O5‑4 – Factorum(Sun Tzu)

O5‑5 – The Accountant(Cleopatra)

O5‑6 – The Sorcerer(Victor von Doom)

O5‑7 – The Brain

The political fronts were taking shape.Power blocs forming.Influence webs tightening.

Seven members now.But the Council's structure allowed for thirteen.

And with every new addition, the Foundation grew stronger.More efficient.More terrifying.

Exactly as it needed to be.
