Aiden watched the couple sitting in their seats, saying nothing.
He wanted their opinions what he got was Adrienned leaning into Alex and saying nothing.
He couldn't help raising an eyebrow, thinking to himself that this was not his capable secretary. This was a little canary who needed to be taken care of.
He watched the way she leaned into her husband. The way he held her was like he had done this a thousand times. He wouldn't question their relationship. Whatever it was was none of his business.
He simply sat there waiting for one of them to respond.
"What kind of place uses sex as infrastructure?" Alex asked, his tone suggesting he was excited.
If Aiden hadn't seen the way he and Adrienne were holding each other, he would have thought he was excited about the prospect of how such a building could exist. But seeing how close they were, he thought better of it.
"Are you excited about what kind of building it is or the prospect of playing there?"
