[Reality Editor upgraded to Version 2.0, unlocking Character Template Function (stackable),
Character Model Movement Function, Basic Item Library, Skill Slot Expansion, Inventory Slot Expansion, and Terrain Decoration Recording Function.]
Luke glanced at Jenny in surprise, an old TV line suddenly popping into his head: "Single mothers are like a delicate cherry blossom, trembling in the spring breeze…"
One good thrust and she was completely won over?
Yep. Dick really is the fastest way to a Milf's heart.
Guess Barney Stinson was right after all.
Luke had originally assumed Jenny could only be recorded into the system once Yulinka truly approved of her.
He hadn't expected that simply fucking her silly would be enough to convince her.
While eating, Luke studied the new functions.
First, he maxed out his own attributes, pushing all six stats to 100.
His body was strengthened even further; the small amount of stamina and energy he'd lost during that intense ..cardio session instantly recovered to peak condition.
After activating the Character Template Function, he found he could now directly apply any recorded character template to himself.
For example: the Marvel Iron Jason Template, the Madison Template, and the Maria Template.
Luke immediately applied the Iron Jason Template.
In that instant, his body felt heavier, and his neural pathways seemed to have been drilled hundreds of times over. Abilities he hadn't possessed before now flowed through him almost like muscle memory.
Pain Shielding!
Luke activated it with a thought, and instantly every external sensation—pain, touch, everything—vanished completely.
Fear disappeared at the same time.
He no longer knew what fear was. He no longer knew what pain was.
Even if all Ten Great Tortures of North Korea were applied to him one after another, he wouldn't bat an eye. He simply wasn't afraid.
The bloodiest scenes felt as ordinary as roadside flowers and grass.
Even death itself held no terror for him.
Luke quickly turned the state off.
Sure, it made him tougher than a honey badger, but it would also get him killed in no time.
"I should have regeneration now, but Jason's version… first, it needs external energy stimulation or a soul-level summons, and second, more importantly, the 'me' that comes back might not really be me anymore."
Luke had zero interest in waking up as Jason's grotesque zombie husk.
"For me, the really critical abilities are Super Perception, Soul Resistance, Mind Seduction, and Steel Body (Jason)."
"Hmm, there's also Adaptive Evolution too."
Jason could keep evolving whenever he was attacked or killed, potentially gaining perfect resistance to whatever had hurt him.
He also has powerful adaptability, able to actively fuse and evolve with nanomachines.
He could basically serve as universal fusion material.
Additionally, after applying the Jason Template, Luke's entire skeleton was replaced with an adamantium-vibranium composite alloy.
That effectively turned him into a budget Wolverine.
But the single biggest gain was probably Super Perception.
Luke could now place an "Evil Spirit Lock" on anyone he had ever met, letting him instantly sense and track them no matter where they fled.
At the same time, he could ignore distance entirely and detect anyone connected to him by blood or by a special bond.
...for example, women who had received his bodily fluids.
Once he locked onto them, he could use Evil Spirit Teleportation to instantly appear within a random few hundred meters of the target.
This was an exclusive Evil Spirit ability.
Beyond that, the Character Model Movement Function allowed Luke to freely drag and drop any recorded subject inside the 3D stereoscopic view, ignoring physical space and obstacles, whenever and wherever he wanted!
Including himself.
The result was something akin to high-speed movement or outright teleportation.
Group movement was supported as well.
"Does this mean I can finally drop Teleportation from my skill bar?"
Luke still treasured that ability.
This way he could better protect himself and his women.
Even if danger appeared, he could evacuate everyone instantly.
Plus, with this Reality Editor upgrade, both his inventory and skill slots had jumped to ten each.
That gave him far more room for error in a fight.
"I wonder what version the Editor has to reach before I can pull templates straight from the Character Library… or even summon the actual characters."
Luke's thoughts turned greedy.
Summoning was definitely coming; it was a core feature of any proper editor mod.
Once he could call down galaxy-level, universe-level, or even multiverse-level gods, he could finally lie flat and retire, right?
While Luke was lost in his daydreams...
Madison glanced around the table. Jenny looked strangely flushed, Yulinka seemed fine, and Luke… he hadn't said a word since they started eating.
Everything should be normal.
Yet something still felt off to her.
Yes, it was way too quiet.
But Madison had still underestimated Yulinka's cunning and wildly overestimated Luke's ability to be discreet.
Even if he'd been screwing right in front of her, Madison wouldn't have noticed a thing.
The two of them had pulled it off lightning-fast.
After Yulinka finished eating, she somehow produced a bright green trucker hat and handed it to Madison with a sweet smile.
Madison took it automatically and murmured, "Thank you."
Yulinka waved it off—she was the one who should be grateful.
Humming cheerfully, twin tails bouncing, Yulinka turned on the television to catch the news.
"New York News: At 12:30 p.m. today, a small meteorite designated 'Jason' crashed into the northern forest region of Crystal Lake Town, resulting in 83 confirmed deaths, hundreds injured, and extensive damage to the town. Our on-site correspondent reports that local residents appear… quite sad?"
On screen, the townsfolk of Crystal Lake were grinning ear-to-ear grins, cheering, and hugging one another. The reporter, clearly thrown, still forced out the word "sad."
"Sir, what are your thoughts on today's meteorite impact?"
"Thoughts? I'm ecstatic! You know what this means? That bastard is dead! Finally, completely dead! Thank you, God—He finally heard our prayers!"
"Ahem. This gentleman's situation may be… complicated. Let's speak to someone more representative. Ma'am—"
"He's dead! He's dead! Woohoo! We're free! We're dancing! We're liberated!"
"…Sir, what are your thoughts on the high casualty count this time?"
"Ecstatic. Words can't describe it. Good riddance! Beautiful death! Crystal Lake will never see another murder again!"
"Ahem. It's clear the local residents are experiencing profound grief over this tragedy. Our network will coordinate with Red Cross psychological expert Dr. Hannibal Lecter to provide one-on-one counseling for the community. The official donation hotline is displayed below…"
Everyone watching could tell the reporter was one wrong answer away from a complete breakdown.
The live broadcast had nearly become a live meltdown.
Luke didn't bother following the rest of the Crystal Lake celebration. Dinner was over, and it was time for the traditional post-meal workout.
He shot Madison a meaningful glance and headed upstairs.
Madison hurried after him without a word.
Yulinka stared at their retreating backs, dumbfounded. Wait, didn't you two just finish a round of "exercise"? You're still going?
"Jenny, you guys just—"
"Yulinka, sweetie, could you handle the dishes for me?" Jenny interrupted with an awkward smile. "Mom's absolutely exhausted and can barely move."
Yulinka's smile vanished instantly. "Mom, you're such a disappointment!"
...
Night fell.
Three sorcerers in yellow robes appeared silently outside 177A Bleecker Street, Manhattan.
"Master Mordo, I've confirmed the final point where the meteorite summoner's energy signature appeared."
"Given the potential threat level, shouldn't we consult the Ancient One first?"
Mordo stared into the darkness. "Unnecessary. A trivial matter like this doesn't require bothering the Sorcerer Supreme. I'll personally lead our finest and apprehend him myself."
