Ximena's POV
The victory celebration at Willowville High had the entire school electric with excitement. Our team crushed the competition, which could only mean one thing - tonight would bring the kind of wild, reckless party that everyone would remember.
Friday evening found me positioned at my bedroom window, watching as Glenda's car pulled into our driveway. Music and cheering already echoed from the Willow Brook area, carried on the autumn breeze.
I remained there with my arms folded, observing the parade of headlights streaming past, questioning my decision to agree to this whole thing.
Going out was the last thing I wanted to do tonight. Honestly.
But Glenda had hatched one of her schemes. And once Glenda set her mind to something, resistance was pointless.
She burst through our front door moments later without bothering to knock. "Ximena! Fashion emergency delivery!" she announced, making a beeline for my bedroom.
