Veronica's POV
Everyone's gaze landed on me. Almost everyone had written me off as trouble. Since I'd stepped foot in The Nelson Family, chaos seemed to follow in my wake.
Olive and Kathrine were still bedridden from the consequences they'd faced because of me!
Cecile let out a weary sigh before turning to Clark. "Why don't you visit The Sinclair Family personally and see if you can smooth this over? If this escalates, both families will suffer."
Clark nodded. "I understand, Mom. I'll head over immediately."
"I don't think this is Veronica's fault. Winnie completely overreacted! There's no reason for Dad to go begging, is there?" Camila jumped to my defense, backing my decision.
"Exactly," Camila pressed on, "Why should she have stood by while Winnie's son tormented Joseph? Veronica did what was right."
Hanna interjected, "Right now, assigning blame doesn't matter. Veronica has already crossed The Sinclair Family, so your father needs to intervene."
