Sunlight wrapped around me like a golden cloak, and I could feel the confidence radiating from every inch of my being. I sat tall on my horse, carefree and untouchable. What man could resist a woman like me?
Zain flashed a wide grin, clearly captivated. "You're on!"
He didn't waste another second—swinging onto his horse and galloping toward the starting line with determination.
"Zain, wait!" Alonzo and Liana called after him desperately, but he was already gone.
I smirked and wheeled my horse around, pursuing him toward the line. Let the games begin.

"She's obviously trying to seduce Zain! We can't let this happen!" Liana hissed to Alonzo, her voice dripping with venom.
"I know exactly what she's doing," Alonzo replied, his eyes burning with hatred.
Veronica thought she could cause trouble so brazenly? She'd learn otherwise.
