Leonardo's POV
Behind my sunglasses, I watched the heavyset woman demolish two enormous bowls of seafood noodles. She finished every last bite, dabbed her lips with a napkin, and waved the waiter over to clear her empty dishes.
Minutes later, a businessman in a crisp suit entered the restaurant.
He scanned the room before making his way to Juliette's table.
"Miss Harding?"
"That's me!" Juliette glanced up, giving him a quick once-over.
The guy looked polished enough—clean-cut, decent clothes, not terrible to look at.
"I'm Victor," he said, settling into the chair across from her while doing his own assessment.
Juliette straightened her posture, putting on her best ladylike act. Sure, she carried some extra weight, but her family had money.
Victor ran through his basic info, then suggested, "Want to grab some food and talk?"
"Absolutely!"
Victor flagged down their server and rattled off his order. "Juliette, what sounds good to you?"
