Leonardo's POV
"Stop staring! We're leaving," I snapped, my anger reaching a boiling point. I'd finally figured Veronica out completely. She couldn't stay put, always getting tangled up with different guys—one today, another tomorrow. Right now, I felt like she was playing me for a complete fool.
But what did it matter? This was just a business arrangement. Once our time period passed, we'd go our separate ways. My Trish was sweet and compliant—she'd even blessed me with an adorable son.
Nobody could measure up to her.

Leonardo walked out, leaving the guys behind to exchange bewildered looks.
"What's eating the boss? He looks ready to murder someone," Edwards wondered aloud, always hungry for gossip.
"Beats me, probably something about Veronica," Hardy grumbled, equally annoyed.
"Didn't I catch his assistant saying Veronica's name? Must be connected to her somehow," Clive chimed in.
