Under the warm imbrace of the Celine Star, the Jin Clan welcomed it's newest member, Jin Nan. His mother Jin Yoon, was the sister of the Clan Leader and his father Wei Lan, was the Third Prince of the Celine Empire. When Jin Nan was born, it was determined that he possessed no cultivation, as no qi could be sensed within him, nor was he absorbing any as new born cultivators typically do. However, the doctor made a very shocking discovery. His bones were not soft as one would expect from an infant. When using his medical senses to scan him, he was met with heavy resistance and even the sky above began to rumble. This can only be possible if he was trying to read someone of higher cultivation than his own. If the sky also reacted, that could only happen if he offend an Immortal. A motal looking into an Immortal's secrets is like spying on heaven and death is the penalty.
The Clan Leader, who was a Nascent Soul Master at the peak stage, was also blocked from searching Jin Nan's mind and body. He even had to dodge a lightning bolt doing so. It could not be denied. They were dealing with a Young Immortal, which had never existed before. Even more shocking, is that he was born with no great spectacle to attract attention. He was born like any other child. With such an unorthodox existence, Leader Jin Yu supressed all news of his birth. Jin Nan was not to leave the clan for any reason and no record of him being born was kept. Luckily for them, they were not dealing with a rebellious child, or else they would have no way of stopping him.
Jin Yun wanted nothing more than to parade Jin Nan around the realm and become an a legendary figure, but there was too much happening in all nine realms for something like this to become publicly known. The Jin Clan is one of oldest clans in all of the nine realms that still exists despite the numerous wars that has passed throughout the years. In fact, there are only 21 other clans that have been around for as long as Jin, the Wei Clan being one of them and a close ally of Jin. With the great multi realm unrest unfolding at the time, all of the Elder Clans were eager to take out each other to be the only one and rule as the sole Ancestral Clan from the first era.
Immortals began descending more and more everyday, so Jin Yu used all of his essence to create a powerful seal to cloak a mountain range for Jin Nan to play and grow freely without being detected by those Immortals. Jin Nan stayed there willingly for 100,000 years, practicing and chatting with Clan Leaders, Elders and direct disciples throughout the years, offering guidance when needed, as he is their oldest living member. He would even perform the crowning of the Clan Leader rites and acted as the Supreme Elder of the clan. Despite the Jin Clan's long existence and far reaching influence, they have never produced an Immortal and thus never became an Immortal Clan. Now, they had one he would not stay hidden for long.
