The Empress everyone hate and felt disgust to talk to was finally collapsed on the ground.

That pitiful Empress gave that woman a sad smile and said with painful voice "I don't want any of this anymore. I have nothing left. I already saw how cruel this world can be".
She felt pain at her stomach where she stabbed herself but she continued with shaky voice "I want justice for my past self who wanted their love but only get betrayal"
Her eyes were red in Fury and she looked at that woman's eyes and said "I want revenge against every single person who tortured me physically and mentally. I want them to feel the same pain I felt in my whole life ".
Then she looked at that woman with teary eyes and asked "Will I get justice?"
That woman patted her head again and said with soft tone "Whatever you want, you will get, child".
Cold expression appeared on that woman's face and said " But I am the Queen of Demons , I can't give you anything freely. You have to give me price for it. You have to give me something precious".
Lanxuan looked at her confusingly and said "But I don't have anything".
Hearing dying Empress's words demon queen looked at her intensely and said "You still have your life! Give me your life. Your body, your identity, your throne. Give it to me and I shall return every wound a thousandfold".
She looked at Lanxuan with determination and said"I promise you those people who torture you will not get a peaceful life or merciful death" .
Hearing Demon Queen's demand Lanxuan chuckled and thought "Everyone said that my life was useless, today I will use this useless life to trade their life ".
Then she nodded and wishpeared "Take it".
Hearing Empress's words an evil smile appeared on Demon Queen's face and murmured "Good girl".
As her body grows cold, demon queen touched her forehead.
The pitiful Empress took her last breath.
Demon Queen pressed her hand against Lanxuan's heart.
A flash of red and black light erupted.
The Empress's final breath left her body.
As Empress's soul faded, demon queen whispered : "Rest, your vengeance is mine now".

In a house an old man wrote something on a paper suddenly he stopped and touched his heart.
He felt sharp pain in his heart.
He had difficulty in breathing.
He took deep breaths.
Seeing him in pain a servant came to him with anxious face and asked "Master, are you okay? Do you feel pain in your chest?"
Hearing his servant's anxious voice, he calm himself down and said "I am fine. Don't know why suddenly I felt pain in my chest".
Hearing his master's words that servant's face became anxious. He was scared to see his master like that.
Even in this age, his master was very strong.
He always ate healthy food.
His master never drank alcohol or spicy food.
Then what happened suddenly.
That servant looked at him worriedly and asked "Master, should I call imperial physician?"
That old man nodded his head and said with broken voice "Yes, call him ".
Hearing his master's order, he did not waste any more time and went to the Imperial physician's chamber.
After sometime imperial physician came to check that old man.
Looking at the physician that old man asked "What's wrong with my health? I suddenly felt pain in my heart".
After hearing that imperial physician was also afraid.
After hearing complain about his heart, imperial physician was scared too.
They were friends from childhood.
He knew this person very well.
This person always told everything to him about his life.
Though he didn't support his friend's decision all the time but he respect his decision and never intervene in any of that.
Looking at his friend's condition he was scared for him.
But he calmed himself down and check him.
After examining prime minister imperial physician said "I can't detect any symptoms of any kind of heart disease. Do you feel that pain often?"
After hearing physician's question that old person said "No, I never felt any discomfort in my chest before. This was the first time I feel pain in my chest ".
Then imperial physician looked at him thoughtfully and asked "Do you take lots of stress?"
Prime minister nodded and said "As a prime minister I have to think about the people of this country. This is my responsibility".
Imperial physician shake his head in denial "Your health is also your responsibility. Who will take care of you in the future if anything happened to you"
Then he looked at his friend and asked "Where is your wife? Why don't she come here and take care of you?"
Hearing his friend's words that old person shake his head and said "You know that I never give her my wife's place. I married her only for Lanxuan".
Looking at that old person's words his friend narrowed his eyes and said "But Lanxuan is married and live with in the imperial palace. Not to mention she is the Empress now. You already make her the Empress".
Hearing his friend's words a proud expression appeared on that old man's face and he said "Yes, she is the Empress now. Everyone will respect my daughter now".
Looking at the old man's happiness his friend asked "Do you think she is happy?"
Hearing his friend's doubtful words that old man asked "What do you mean by that?"
He always felt bad for Lanxuan.
He always told his friend to talk to his daughter about everything but this old man was very stubborn and never listen to him.
He heard some rumour about the Emperor and Empress.
But he didn't know for sure what happened in the imperial palace.
If this was only rumours then he didn't want to give his friend another stress.
He shake his head and said "Nothing important. Just some rumour. Don't worry about it".
That old man nodded in agreement.
His friend said "Don't worry prime minister, I give you some medicine. You will be better soon . I will come later for another checkup".
Then that physician gave some medicine to prime minister and left.
After that physician left the servant asked his master worriedly "Master, are you okay now?"
Looking at his servant's worried face he nodded and said "I am fine ".
Then he thought of something and asked his servant "btw, how is my daughter doing now? After she becomes Empress, I don't have chance to meet her. Is she very busy with work? She doesn't come here to meet me. Maybe she is still angry with me. It's okay, I will go to meet her soon ".

The demon queen's figure turned to smoke and entered into the Empress's lifeless body.
There was heavy wind everywhere.
Finally Demon Queen's soul enter into that pitiful Empress's body.

Footsteps approached outside the door.
She smirked and murmured "Perfect timing".
When she looked at the person who entered into this cold palace, her eyes were wide with shocked.
For sometime demon Queen who is now the empress looked at the person shockingly and murmured "what the hell!"
