Another use of contribution points in the sect is that they can be used to exchange for things.
It can be exchange for pills, cultivation techniques, weapons, armor, or even other things.
After exchanging points for a healing pill, Cloud go straight to his courtyard.
He wants to quickly focus on recovering first.
After entering the courtyard, Cloud eat, wash up, then sit on the stone bed and took the healing pill.
After consuming the pill, Cloud can feel a cold and soothing energy spreading inside his body.
The cold energy start from his stomach then spread everywhere until it gathers on his wounds in the end.
Cloud can feel that his wounds are healing in a noticable rate. The cold energy also soothe his pain significantly.
But the healing process wouldn't end in an instant, so with nothing else to do, Cloud choose to sleep on the bed.
The next morning, Cloud wakes up early.
The first thing he do after waking up is checking his injuries. His injuries are so much better now.
He can barely feel the pain at this point and he estimates that he would completely recover after a few days.
"As expected of an expensive healing pill." Cloud said with a smile.
He is satisfied with the effect of the pill he consumed.
but it does cost him quite a bit.
10 contribution points is about equal to 10 large beasts.
That's more than a silver coin if converted to common people's money.
A silver can be used to live frugally for a month in a regular family of three.
Imagine that amount of money is used for a one time used healing medicine. It's quite considerable.
And when Cloud exchanged for it, he learned that it is the most basic recovery pill.
There are a lot more that is of higher grade. Which means they are more expensive but also more effective.
But Cloud doesn't need such a pill for the time being. Just the healing pill that he took is already more than enough for him currently.
After checking his condition and found out that he would need a few more days to fully recover, Cloud begin to think about the cave.
He can't rush the healing process so he stop thinking about it for the time being.
As for the cave, Cloud is thinking of a few ideas that he might be able to use.
One idea is to just report it to the sect. But if he do this, he might get some rewards and probably some contribution points. But he would not be able to get anything really precious from the cave if there is any.
Another way is to go back by himself and try to kill the spirit beast one by one. This way is far more dangerous because if there is any mistake, Cloud might not be able to make it out alive.
But the good thing about this way is that he would be able to have everything that he find in that cave if he succeed.
Cloud continue thinking about the plan for the cave. He would try to find a way so that he could gain a decent profit while not taking too big of a risk.
But thinking about this would take time. Cloud has a lot to consider and that cannot be done in an instant.
For the next few days, Cloud only focus on recovering. He try to cultivate while waiting but the results are insignificant.
If he cultivates like that it would take years for him to breakthrough.
But since he have tried, now he knows that it is not a sustainable way for him to cultivate.
After Cloud recover completely, he go back out to hunt. He didn't hunt in the cave this time, he hunt in hunting area one instead.
He manages to gather a few more contribution points while thinking of a way to deal with the cave.
After slowly thinking and considering all factors, Cloud finally decides what he's going to do.
So after going back from hunting and resting, Cloud goes out to find Xiao Fan.
Xiao Fan is living in a different place, unlike other outer disciples.
He lives in a secluded place near where his master resides.
Cloud had asked Xiao Han before to find this information. Xiao Han also said that Xiao Fan didn't find Cloud at all after entering the sect not because he didn't want to but because he can't.
The Head Elder had forbid Xiao Fan from going out and ordered him to focus on cultivating first.
He would only be allowed to go out after cultivating to a satisfactory level by his master.
When Cloud asked Xiao Han before, he had said that Xiao Fan should already be close to that level, so that's why Cloud think of visiting.
Around at noon in this day, Cloud walk toward the secluded area where Xiao Fan lives. That area is a bit far from Cloud's courtyard so he have to walk for a while.
The secluded area where Xiao Fan lives is a mountain peak.
Cloud slowly climb the stairs that should reach that peak.
Halfway up the mountain, Cloud see two people sitting on the stairs above him.
As he got closer to them they slowly stand up. When they were close enough, they stop Cloud and ask about his purpose here.
Cloud tells them honestly that he is here to find Xiao Fan. He also found out that the two are a guard here.
One of the guard is slightly surprised when he heard Cloud looking for Xiao Fan.
The other asked whether Cloud have any proof or permit to go up from here.
But before Cloud can answer, the other guard said to Cloud, "I'll take you to him if you can take one blow from me."
