After checking that there is nothing unusual besides his meridian, Cloud stop thinking about it anymore.
There is no point in guessing. His time is way too precious to use for something like that.
Cloud takes out a medicine from his robe and he spread it gently to his bruises. This medicine seems to become something that Cloud cannot use anymore.
From this point on, he would need a stronger medicine with a much higher efficacy than this.
But even though this medicine wouldn't help him much with such a severe injuries, it would help him soothe the pain a little.
The cold sensation from the medicine lessens Cloud's pain a little. After he's done applying the medicine, he stand up to look around.
The body of the boar are still around. Cloud put on his ring then touch each bodies to store them.
After that, he look around the cave to investigate. This cave doesn't seem normal.
Two spirit beasts hiding in here is a testament of that.
As far as Cloud know, above the cave, there is only an expansive field of weeds.
Spirit Beast needs a lot of nutrients to sustain itself. There is no way it would choose such a barren place to live.
There must be something here that interest them.
This portion of the cave is not that big. After checking everything and finding nothing, Cloud continue.
There are only two ways that lead to somewhere else from this cave.
Including the hole that Cloud fell from, that would make it three.
Cloud choose one of the two ways that he doesn't know where it would lead and walk slowly into it.
He need to be careful because he doesn't know what else is in this cave.
He made a decision that he would run if he meet another spirit beast. He is in no condition to fight after all.
But running wouldn't be a problem. Although his injuries are severe for normal human being, as a cultivator, his body is a lot stronger so he can still move decently in such a condition.
Cloud walk slowly following the road he chose. There isn't anything out of the ordinary throughout the way.
After walking for about half an hour, Cloud senses something different. The qi in the surroundings are starting to get richer.
Above and at the cave section before, the qi was very barren, almost non-existent.
Now, the qi is comparable to Cloud's courtyard in the sect. It cannot be said to be very rich but it is still considerable.
Compared to the new disciple building area, it is noticably richer.
Cloud continues walking forward, curious about the source of this unusual phenomena.
Usually, what can change the qi in the surroundings are something like magic items and formation arrays that cultivators made.
It rarely happens without any cause or with natural causes.
After another half hour of walking, Cloud senses the qi in the surroundings are getting significantly richer.
It way surpassed the surrounding qi on Cloud's courtyard.
Cloud begin to see what seems to be the end of the road in front of him. As he nears the end, he sees that it seems to be an opening.
After arriving at the opening, Cloud is surprised to see a very big cave section in front of him.
The cave section is at least 10 meters high and it's so wide that Cloud cannot speculate the measurements.
He is currently standing above a small jutting wall. There is no more road in front of him.
The opening of the road he chose lead into a dead end in the middle of the big cave area.
The ground of the big cave section is about five meters down from the jutting rock that Cloud is standing on.
Looking around the big cave, Cloud didn't find anything unusual. There is nothing related to the strange, overly rich surrounding qi.
But his eyes widened when he look down to the ground. At the ground of the big cave section, there are about ten beasts boar around.
They are walking around doing unknown things.
From Cloud's perspective, they seems to be spirit beasts. Almost all or even all of them seems so.
There is even one that seems to be stronger and bigger than usual.
After thinking about it for a moment, Cloud gives up the thought of exploring further.
Those spirit beasts below, he can't handle them by himself. And who knows if there would be more around that's hidden.
So he decides that he would leave the cave to think of another way.
But before he leave, he plans to make use of the unnaturally rich surrounding qi in here.
The boars cannot reach him from below so he is currently safe.
Cloud goes back a little, leaving the jutting rock into the opening on the wall that he came from.
He sat down cross-legged and took out a bottle from his robe. He then takes out the last Qi Gathering Pill he have from the bottle and consume it.
Cloud then begin meditating and activates his Five Elements Origin Art to start gathering qi from the surroundings.
