The four of them journeyed toward Bright Moon City.
It is just the four of them without any additional guards.
More people would only slow them down. As for protection, there is no need to worry. There is Xiao Han with them, which is enough.
On the journey, they encountered many beasts. There are also some Spirit Beasts amongst those.
But Xiao Han easily slay those beasts with his sword.
From Cloud's perspective, Xiao Han is super strong. There is no comparison at all.
If he fight Xiao Han, not to mention winning, running away with his life would already be considered a miracle.
Even compared to the village chief back then, Xiao Han is way stronger. He easily killed spirit beasts as strong as that bear in the village.
He did so without much effort. Most only need one strike.
There are also some that Cloud think is stronger than the bear at the village. But it only took a few more strikes for Xiao Han to kill those.
The other three also contributes when fighting the beasts. They are in charge of killing those that aren't spirit beasts.
Xiao Han purposefully ordered this. He won't step up if it's not a spirit beast or if they aren't in significant danger.
He only step up if it is a spirit beast and when someone is in danger.
He does this purposefully to let the three temper their combat experience.
Cloud performs very well at this. He is used to it and he moves like someone who's experienced.
If someone is counting, then his contribution is second after Xiao Han. But it is way higher compared to the other two. It is not even close at all.
The other two struggled at first. They were pushed to their limit many times. There are many occasions where they were breathing heavily in battle.
They are not used in a kill or be killed situation.
After a few days on the journey, Cloud learned to ride a horse on his own.
They would teach him when they, or their horses is resting.
The distance is very long but their horses are also not ordinary. They are beasts as strong as someone in Martial Body Realm.
Although they are not spirit beast, they are incomparably stronger than the horses on Cloud's previous world.
Their stamina and speed is way higher.
But they purposefully slowed down at the beginning of their journey. They focus on teaching Cloud to ride the horse first.
They ride significantly faster after that. They only stop every few days to rest and to let their horses rest.
They also eat around those times.
At their level, their body is significantly stronger so not sleeping and eating for a few days is acceptable.
It is not comfortable but they can withstand it.
As for Xiao Han, he is completely unaffected. He only stop to let the others rest and let the horses rest.
The journey goes on like this for about a month.
At this time, they are already close to their destination.
The sun brightly lit the world overhead. Inside a forest, the sounds of battle rang.
Cloud, Xiao Fan, and Fang Yue is circling a big bull in a triangle. Their weapons drawn and their breathing ragged.
"Don't worry and fight it calmly. This will be your last battle before we arrive." Xiao Han said while watching calmly from the side.
The three is fighting a spirit beast. That's why they struggle even if it is three on one.
Even Cloud also struggle. He didn't expect that a spirit beast's body is very tough.
He can't slice deeply enough through the bull's body.
Xiao Han didn't expect them to win against the spirit beast. He wants them to experience fighting one.
Just so happened that he found a bull that recently become a spirit beast.
He wanted them to experience this so that they won't become overconfident in the future and try to fight one themselves.
The three keep fighting the bull. They can't break its defense at all. They are already coordinating with each other.
Fighting together for a month already makes them coordinate better. But even then, they're still struggling.
"Let's focus our attack on one area!" Cloud suggested.
The two nod and Fang Yue said, "Let's target its upper neck!"
The two agrees and they move right away.
Everyone uses their speed to jump around the bull and attack its upper neck.
Cloud slices with his blade, Xiao Fan cut with his sword and Fang Yue attack using her whip.
The bull bellows loudly. It is suffering from the attacks. It became enraged and swing its head vigorously.
The long horns moved around, making it hard to target its neck.
At one point, the bull charge toward Fang Yue.
Fang Yue is still landing from attacking just now. She can't move to avoid the bull's charge.
Xiao Han is about to move when he saw this.
But he saw something unexpected before he could.
Cloud is jumping up the bull's back. He ride the bull and he stab the open wound on its back that has been caused by the previous joint attacks.
He shouted and stab his blade deeply. Then he quickly jump away to avoid the bull's horns.
The sudden attack surprised the bull. It quickly moves around wildly but that makes it moves off course and it miss Fang Yue.
It then hit a large tree and fall after a short bellow.
The thick tree that would need two people to hug around its body fall.
Its been partially uprooted and it fell in the opposite direction of the bull.
The bull only lay before it. It appears that it won't be long until its death. Cloud's blade is still rooted on its neck and blood is gushing out of the wound.
Xiao Han is stunned at this scene. He was about to move but he's frozen on the spot until now.
