"Swish—"
Sebastian Xiao's punch missed again. Other·Xiao had already teleported far away, raising his charred-black palm.
Rumble~~~~~~~~
With great difficulty, Other·Xiao lifted his burned arm. Massive sections of land rose into the air—fertile earth rolling and rippling like waves. In an instant, all of it twisted into earth dragons, roaring as they surged toward Xiao.
Sebastian Xiao didn't budge. He simply stared at Other·Xiao, envy burning faintly in his eyes, then spread his arms wide as if welcoming the attack.
The earth dragons—strong enough to crush an armored vehicle—slammed into him. But it was like waves crashing against a stone reef. They shattered instantly, crumbling into clouds of dust.
The enormous kinetic energy only made Xiao's figure swell again, his aura growing even more dangerous, his power rising yet another notch.
"Damn it! Physical attacks are useless against Energy Absorption! Then I have to—!"
Other·Xiao cursed inwardly, shot into the sky, and manipulated the soil of the small world once more, turning it into a swelling tsunami.
"Lion Power: Earth Roll!"
Xiao looked at the earth coming at him from every direction, even having the leisure to name the guy's moves.
He even thought to himself that when he used this move in the future, he should make the earth wave sprout a dragon head—much more imposing that way.
"Go to hell~~!"
The earth tsunami crashed into Sebastian Xiao. But realizing Xiao was still unharmed, Other·Xiao clenched his teeth and pushed harder, compressing tens of thousands of tons of soil around him, spinning and crushing like a giant meat grinder.
"It's useless, useless, useless~~~!" Xiao's slightly childish laughter echoed through the small world. "As long as something moves, it has kinetic energy. And if it has kinetic energy, it can't hurt me! Hahahahaha~~!"
He stood rooted in place like an iron pillar, unmoving in the swirling vortex. Every attack that hit him was sucked dry of energy, collapsing into loose, sinking dirt.
"Your world is shrinking," Sebastian Xiao said calmly. "That means your stored energy isn't enough anymore—you're being forced to consume the source."
He took one step forward. A burst of scorching explosive flames radiated from his body, burning the surrounding earth and further weakening Other·Xiao's small world.
"Damn it… damn it! Why—why do you get such unreasonable abilities? It's not fair!"
Other·Xiao's charred face twisted with anger and despair. But he could do nothing now except delay his inevitable death.
Just as Sebastian Xiao said, he had burned through almost everything. Controlling elements in the small world didn't normally cost the "Creator" much—but that didn't mean it cost nothing.
To kill Sebastian Xiao, he had mobilized a massive portion of the world's terrain, unleashing attack after attack. He had squeezed out every drop of power he had.
Yet he still couldn't even scratch his opponent.
It broke him completely.
"Luck is also part of strength," Xiao said, spreading his hands—returning the very words Other·Xiao once told him.
Other·Xiao: "…"
"Die."
Sebastian Xiao didn't give him a chance to reflect.
He stomped down, launching himself forward, and punched straight toward the man's face.
Swish—
Teleportation triggered again—but this time, a thin, withered leg was left behind on the ground, instantly crumbling into dust like a dead branch.
"A self-sacrifice? But the small world is still shrinking. What are you doing? Burning energy like this just to buy time~~?"
Sebastian Xiao narrowed his eyes. That growing sense of danger gnawed at him. As he continued the chase, he started scanning the surroundings—he needed to uncover whatever secret Other·Xiao was hiding.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Other·Xiao's arms and lower body disintegrated into dust. The earth roared up again, surging to wrap around Sebastian Xiao, blocking all of his sight.
Sebastian Xiao: "…"
He exhaled slowly, steadying himself.
He had never met such a disgustingly troublesome opponent.
He kicked off the ground and drove his fist straight toward the man's face.
Swish—
Teleportation triggered again, and 'He-I Xiao' slipped away—yet this time, he left behind a thin, dead-tree-like thigh that instantly crumbled to sand.
"Sacrificing your own body? But the small world hasn't stopped shrinking. What are you planning? That takes a lot of energy—you're stalling for something…"
Sebastian Xiao narrowed his eyes. The sense of danger crawling up his spine grew stronger. Even as he pursued, he kept darting glances around, searching for whatever 'He-I Xiao' was hiding.
Boom—boom—boom—
'He-I Xiao's remaining hands and lower torso weathered away like brittle wood. The earth surged again, crashing over Sebastian Xiao and blocking all vision.
Sebastian Xiao: "…"
He exhaled slowly. He had truly never fought someone this disgustingly annoying.
'He-I Xiao' had also spotted Sebastian's weakness. As a pampered "mama's boy" who had barely experienced real combat—never mind a proper fight—his only advantage was raw numbers. His stats utterly crushed the opponent, but stats couldn't hide clumsy technique. With no battle instincts, he fought like an enraged bull: strong, but easy to mislead.
But I am also me—cautious, scheming, and insidious!
"Unfortunately, it's useless. Your world has already shrunk by half. This next punch is enough to destroy everything!"
"Take my Nuclear Blast Fist—!!"
Sebastian Xiao gathered everything—every last drop of explosive power—into a single punch. This time, he wasn't leaving even the slightest chance. The force he unleashed was dozens of times greater than his previous strikes.
Even if the man's ability could distribute damage, this blow would annihilate him—no revival, no tricks.
BOOM—!!
Energy equal to tens of tons of TNT condensed into one point before detonating. TOthernstant release was like a miniature nuclear flash, an annihilating explosion that ripped through the small world's earth like rotten cloth. Heat and destruction surged outward, swallowing everything—especially 'He-I Xiao'.
And in a sealed space, explosions grow several times stronger.
Sebastian Xiao had realized this earlier—his blasts hit harder inside the small world. So once its size shrank enough, he unleashed everything to drown the entire realm, leaving nowhere to hide and nothing to survive.
Even if it didn't kill 'He-I Xiao', it would force his trump card out—or destroy it entirely.
"NO—!!"
But Sebastian Xiao had overestimated his counterpart. 'He-I Xiao' barely had time to scream before being reduced to ash.
"The battle is over."
The Daluo Daoguo granted its confirmation. In the blink of an eye, Sebastian Xiao reappeared on the stone platform.
He collapsed back, exhaling in relief. With the Daoguo's verification, he knew with certainty—'He-I Xiao' was dead for good.
"Hahaha—! I won! I survived! Hahahahaha!!"
He laughed and laughed, hysterical and breathless, the pressure in his chest finally releasing.
