[Dream Realm] Somewhere in a high tower, a close group of friends were gathered chatting, talking, and laughing, and creating a warm atmosphere among them. One particular member was gobbling up the food. Of course, it was Effie.
Nephis, having just bought another exquisite meat, rolled her eyes seeing Effie..
Meanwhile, Kai and Jet were trying their best not to laugh hard, seeing Effie not giving a care. It was a warm atmosphere. As they were saints, they were always busy and and rarely had time for such a warm and contentful gathering. Honestly, it was Cassie's idea for everyone to gather as she wanted to say something to them. But Cassie had been quiet all this time, not talking if waiting for someone or something to happen. Generally, Nephis was quite concerned for her friend Cassie, as since the Third Nightmare, Cassie had grown cold and quiet towards the cohort. When Nephis or anyone in the cohort asked her, she always said it had to do with something about "fate". Today, though, Cassie called everyone to talk about something with them. Cassie spoke, as you all know, since the third nightmare, fate had always been cruel towards me. But today, for the first time, I felt fate tremble.. I think.. som--
But before Cassie could say anything, a violet portal appeared below her and took her in.
Every member of the cohort widened their eyes in disbelief at the scene, and every one of them tried to catch her, but a similar kind of portal also appeared below them and took them in.
In an Unknown place, a black haired girl was walking while gritting her teeth and trying not to fall in the extremely harsh snow. But just as she was losing her strength, a similar kind of portal appeared below her as well, taking her in.
In a Vast theatre, several portals opened and threw the people out and then vanished.
Nephis, who was the first one to regain consciousness, first looked around dazedly.. "Where.. am I?" she tried to summon her weapon.. but she couldn't. Frowning, she tried again, but it didn't work at all, and then she realized she couldn't access her soul sea at all. Still calmly, she decided to look around her surroundings and noticed the other cohort members still unconscious, and an unknown girl.
As everyone slowly regained consciousness, they also looked around dazedly and tried to access their soul see but couldn't. It was almost as if their soul sea didn't exist anymore.
Effie horrified started screaming and crying.. and everyone seeing it besides the unconscious girl who still hasnt waken up felt a bit pity for effie for always treating her so bad but just as they all thought about it Effie said "NOO I SAVED THE TEMPURA BOWL FOR THE LAST SO I COULD EAT IT CONTENTLY..noo.." as Effie was questioning her life choices each and every cohort's eye's twtiched.. they mentally reminded themselves to never feel bad for Effie again. Nephis explained to them that she tried looking for an exit, but there wasn't one. And just then, the girl who was unconscious stirred and dazedly looked around her surroundings. eventually, as she saw everyone, she jumped startly and whispered in a weak and surprised tone.. "l-Changing star..?" The cohort exchanged glances, and then Nephis looked at the girl. And... you are..? the girl blushed, thinking she was stupid for not even introducing herself first... the girl spoke "rain". But just before they could speak again, the huge screen suddenly blinked and came to life.
It said, "Welcome to my movie theatre, Miss Changing Star and her cohort, and of course you, 'rain"
