Jade,a photographer,influencer and a content creater. She has been doing her works in social media since the day she finished her university education.jade has been signing contract with different companies where the companies pays her with the rate at which people love her products reviews. Jade has always dreamt of working with well-know companies abroad though she came from a far continent (Africa) . She has been a bl and gl fan since her high-school days . Jade lost trust in love since her past love stories left her heartbroken where she claimed all the boys she loved before her chose other girls over her .but that doesn't prevent lexie from being a fan girl to her celebrity crush who is a gl actor in Thailand blum .bum is an actor ,a musician and also a content creator who according to jade she existed in another world .bum had been single during her acting and music career and that gave jade some hopes that maybe one day In a miraculous way she will happen to be bum's partner .
One day a fashion and outfit company by the name Her looks opens an audition for new models for the outfits marketing. Jade receives an email from the company. She is curious and opens it ."an application for a model in a fashion company,I'm I dreaming,"jade whispers to herself. She smiles and puts the phone away and continues with writing her work drafts assuming the email was sent to her by mistake .
Early in the morning the following day ,jade receives a phone call from her manager ."jade ,I have some good news ,their is a fashion company looking for a female model and I sent your application and guess what ?" The manager said without giving jade time to react . "Wait ,what ?" Jade smirked .the manager continued "your application was the best and you qualify as one of the female model ." Jade's manager ended the call as silence filled Jade's room.
For a minute she was shocked and then happiness which made her forget what she was doing earlier.
On Monday,a chill windy morning,jade is standing at Her looks fashion company ,she seems in a tense mood since this had been her dreams for years to work as a model in a fashion company. When her name is called put she hesitates for a minute and then she responds.
"Jade lotan," a lady standing in front of her calls out ."yes ! That's me ," jade respondend. "Please come in," the lady requested as she opened the conference room . Jade nodes as she follows the lady .
The conference room is filled with dead silence in way you could hear a pin drop .Everyone around the long glass table is serious and seems busy in their laptops that they don't recognise Jade's presence .
Jade stands behind the door for some minutes . She is staring at the ceiling when a young white lady enters the room with her secretary carrying files in her hands .
"Have a sit jade , I heard from the recent company you worked with that you have the experience that is required for a female model ,"the white lady asked jade in a serious tone .
Jade hesitated"yee....yeah ...yes ! "She smiled . A files was passed to jade who was sitting next to the white lady's secretary. It consisted of personal details and working experience .
"I'm bloom, the Ceo,the company belongs to my family ,"the white lady told jade who was looking confused .
"Nice to meet you bloom ,"jade answered and then continued "why does your name sound familiar,do you have a celebrity sibling."
"That's all you should know for now jade ," bloom answered looking at jade. Jade signed a contract with the company to start the work the following month .
Late in the evening that day ,jade was in her room looking at Her looks company social media platform . To her surprise it was a well know company world wide and the ceo was not only a white lady she came from Thailand ,Jade's dream country. Jade still wonder about the name bloom and why it sounded familiar. "Bum and bloom ,are they relatives ,"she smiled and covered her face with a blanket.
A month Is over and still jade has not received any call from Her looks fashion company. She is in her bed deep in thoughts when a message enters inbox. She seems distracted that she doesn't notice the message.
A call from her recent manager is what Brings her back to reality , she wonders what could be the reason for the phone call .she remembers of her manager's call pranks and ignores it .she stands up and goes to take a shower . After an hour a knock at the door ,she whispers to herself "did I have someone visiting today, "and then she opens the door .
Fear slaps her as she looks at the person standing in front of her door . "Oh! bloom ,what a surprise," she smirks and continues "welcome ."
"Are you that lazy to check at your inbox,"bloom asked in a dissapointed look and the she prolonged her speech "at least next time pick up your managers call ,to save on time. "
" sorry ,I was taking a bath and my phone was in silent mode ,"jade smiled and then answered .Jade checks her inbox "shit !,"she whispers to herself "the contract starts tomorrow but what brings her here,"she continued whispering to herself.
She smiled at bloom and then continued staring at her phone ." I'm her to invite you for lunch with me," bloom answered as if she was reading Jade's mind or something like that . "To discuss about the company matters ,"bloom continued.
"If that is the reason ,then you're lucky because I'm free ," jade answered smiling at bloom .
"I'll be waiting outside when your done come down my car is parked at your apartment's gate. " bloom ended the conversation walking out the door .
The door slammed " lunch ..me ! That's weird ," jade said in a chill tone .
After a few minutes of waiting,jade was here at the parking knocking at blooms car window. "Sorry for keeping you waiting ,"jade smiled opening the car door . Bloom smiled and started the car . Jade smiled back as they drove out of Jade's apartment parking area .
