Chapter 1 - CHAPTER ONE — “THE BOY WHO FELL FROM THE STARS

The world believed Alexander was an ordinary boy.

Teachers saw him as quiet and intelligent. Students thought he was mysterious—handsome in a distant, unreachable way. To everyone at Riverside High, he was just "Alex," the tall transfer student who didn't talk much, didn't join any clubs, and always seemed lost in thought.

But Alex knew better.

Because in the hidden corners of his mind—behind the walls he built to live like a human—echoed memories from a world made of constellations and divine power.

A world called Zodiac.

A world where he wasn't Alex.

He was Alexander Verathradna Aquarius—

Second Prince of the Aquarius Empire,

an Eternal, a being crafted without emotions,

built to command power that could shatter moons.

He remembered the cold marble of the Star Hall beneath his feet, the glow of astral flames in the thrones of the Zodiac Kings, the void-black armor he once wore. He remembered the feeling of being invincible, untouchable… empty.

Eternals were perfect.

Perfectly strong.

Perfectly obedient.

Perfectly emotionless.

But that life ended the day the Supreme Being—Jehovah—descended. With a single decree, His voice commanded the Eternal Princes to live as mortals, to learn humanity, to feel emotions, to walk among fragile creatures and understand their hearts.

And so Alexander fell.

Fell from the stars.

Fell from divinity.

Fell into a body of flesh.

A body that could feel.

And today… he regretted that more than anything.

Because nothing in ten thousand years of existence prepared him for her.

---

The school courtyard was alive with morning chatter—students laughing, backpacks swinging, sneakers slapping pavement. The sun cast a warm glow over Riverside High, turning the world bright and ordinary.

Ordinary.

A word Alexander wished applied to him.

He walked through the gates, suppressing the silent pulse of power that naturally radiated from his body. Even sealed, even restrained, his Eternal essence sometimes made the air ripple when he got emotional.

And recently, he had been feeling… too much.

He adjusted his backpack and scanned the crowds, looking for the one person who made his immortal heart behave like it was breaking.

He saw her near the fountain.

Laughing.

Bright.

Alive in a way he could never be.

Her hair shimmered gently in the morning sun, swaying like it had its own secret rhythm. Her smile—soft, warm, impossibly beautiful—hit Alexander with the force of a shockwave. His chest tightened violently, and he nearly winced.

There it is again… this pain.

He had battled gods in Zodiac, fought celestial beasts, and commanded armies. None of that compared to the fear of walking toward one girl.

She noticed him instantly.

"Hey, Alex!" she said, waving with the kind of smile that made human hearts flutter—and apparently Eternal ones, too.

Alexander froze for a second.

He had no idea what to do when she smiled at him. His mind ran a thousand calculations per second, analyzing facial expressions, comparing heart-rate spikes, diagnosing emotional surges…

None of it helped.

He forced himself to walk closer. "Good… morning."

She tilted her head, noticing the tension in his jaw. "You okay? You look a bit pale."

Alexander blinked. I cannot look pale. My body is a perfect immortal construct…

But he swallowed and nodded. "I…feel something strange."

She stepped closer, worry softening her eyes. "Like what?"

He didn't know how to answer.

How could he tell her that every time he saw her, his chest felt like it was being squeezed? That he couldn't breathe—not because his lungs failed, but because emotions were strangling him? That he didn't even understand love, yet she made him feel like he was falling again?

He lowered his gaze.

"It happens… whenever I look at you."

She froze.

Her eyes widened, her lips parting slightly, and color rose to her cheeks. The reaction made Alexander's pulse erupt—so violently he felt the sealed power inside him scratch at the edges of its confinement.

He took a shaky breath.

This wasn't a battlefield.

This wasn't a divine confrontation.

This was worse.

This was vulnerability.

"Alex…" she whispered. "What do you mean?"

He swallowed hard. The truth pressed against his throat like it wanted out.

"I don't know these feelings," he admitted softly. "They're new. They hurt. They confuse me. I don't understand humans—or emotions—but…"

He met her eyes, golden light flickering deep within his irises for a split second.

"…I think this is what you call… liking someone."

Her breath caught.

The world went still.

The wind stopped.

The students' chatter faded.

Time itself seemed to pause.

Then—

"…Then I'm glad," she whispered, voice trembling. "Because… I think I like you too."

Alexander's heart slammed against his ribs like it wanted to escape. Heat filled his chest—warm, overwhelming, terrifying. The sealed Eternal energy responded instinctively, sending a faint shockwave through the air.

She didn't notice.

But he did.

Liking her was dangerous.

Loving her could be catastrophic.

Eternals weren't meant to feel.

The more he felt, the more the seal cracked.

The more the seal cracked, the more his powers returned.

And if his powers returned—

Earth would feel the consequences.

Yet when she reached out and gently touched his hand…

All his fears melted.

For the first time in his immortal life, Alexander felt something real—something pure, something worth breaking the rules of gods for.

Not pain.

Not confusion.

But love.

And that was the moment his destiny changed forever.

Because an Eternal with a heart

is the most dangerous being in any world.
