Just now, that had been a plasma mass carrying a magnetic field. Red Hulk was completely confused. Did the plasma miss?
Seeing Red Hulk's baffled expression, Zod felt there was no need to explain solar electromagnetic radiation, matter escaping a celestial body's gravity, or high-energy charged particles. Ross definitely wouldn't understand.
Like a baton that never failed, Red Hulk, floating in midair, moved in the direction of Zod's waving hand and slammed into the wall.
Rumble!!
Zod's hands flailed about, and Red Hulk's body sped up and slowed down at random, reduced to a toy in Zod's hands with no ability to resist.
"Bastard!"
Red Hulk was smashed into a real fury. Enraged, he broke free from the invisible restraint. He became stronger, then pounced at Zod.
Zod's expression didn't change. Only an illiterate dropout would still dare to resist at this point.
He pressed both hands downward, altering the magnetic field of the entire city, gathering the spreading electromagnetic waves and focusing them onto Red Hulk alone.
Countless line-like ripples that the naked eye couldn't observe acted on Red Hulk. Boundless pressure surged in, an enormous pressure of tens of millions of tons. If the lab floor hadn't been layered with vibranium, it would have collapsed long ago. Even so, the Red Hulk almost got crushed to death, and only because Zod adjusted the magnetic field in time did he survive.
After that, Ross dropped out of his Red Hulk state. The way his body had just been crushed like tofu filled him with fear. Zod Heath had subdued Red Hulk with nothing but a machine, and he still kept his sanity. Was this what it meant to be a genius a whole century ahead?
Zod casually had the nanorobots disperse. The electromagnetic generator vanished, and Ross felt much more at ease.
Ross was going to be placed outside as Secretary of State. A simple psychic suggestion might fail, so under the excuse of "observation," Zod drew a large amount of Ross's blood. Ross didn't mind. After becoming the Hulk, even though he still looked old on the outside, in his normal state he felt strong and full of power. Knocking down five or six soldiers in one breath wouldn't be a problem.
Looking at the high concentration of gamma radiation in the blood, Zod became very curious how the Leader had researched Hulk's blood in the first place. Red Hulk was already this exaggerated. Green Hulk would only be worse. After all, Zod wasn't someone who feared gamma radiation.
After seeing Zod Heath's strength and genius, Ross naturally agreed to Zod's proposed cooperation. At the same time, the Secretary of State path Zod suggested made Ross think deeply.
"However, Lieutenant Colonel Ross, even though you're strong now, you'd better not casually sleep with anyone. The radiation you release can kill," Zod reminded him.
Ross's face immediately turned ugly. What did that mean? Did Zod think his life goal was just to chase the Hulk dream? He'd had his fill of women when he was young.
But seeing how absorbed Zod was in research, Ross didn't argue.
"We can call Blonsky back now," Zod told Black Queen.
Bruce Banner should be thanking him. If Zod's War Machines hadn't appeared out of nowhere, Ross's plan wouldn't have been targeted like this. The hunt for Hulk had probably been abandoned by now.
With Red Hulk Serum in hand, Zod didn't need to obsess over Green Hulk Serum anymore.
Blonsky wasn't depressed, thinking his efforts were wasted. On the contrary, he remembered what his boss told him before he left and returned excited.
"Boss."
Blonsky looked at Zod.
"Mhm. Good work," Zod said.
Blonsky didn't know how to respond. After all, he hadn't done anything. He hadn't obtained either Hulk Serum or Super Soldier Serum.
Blonsky lay down on the operating table formed by nanorobots. Zod needed to "adjust" him first. The Super Beast Soldier genes had a rejection reaction with Red Hulk Serum. Zod had confirmed that result through experiments on many Beast Soldiers.
After injecting Blonsky with Red Hulk Serum, Blonsky began to suffer immune-system collapse and cellular breakdown just like Ross. But at that moment, Zod injected him with the Extremis Virus.
At the same time, electromagnetic force acted on Blonsky, controlling the Red Hulk Serum and the Extremis Virus. The Extremis Virus rebuilt the immune system at extreme speed and began repairing and regenerating Blonsky's cells. This was the optimal solution Zod had found after many experiments. It reduced the test subject's suffering, prevented them from dying from pain, and Red Hulk Serum also prevented Extremis from losing stability and exploding.
A massive amount of gamma radiation was directed onto Blonsky. His pain became even worse, but his cells began to grow active, absorbing the radiation energy of the gamma rays.
When the experiment ended, Blonsky had become a monster.
Not the shape of Green Hulk or Red Hulk. Instead, Blonsky's current appearance was ferocious. Perhaps influenced by the Super Beast Soldier modifications, his skin was a light black, and his skeleton broke through muscle in places, forming bone-spike-like protrusions. Those bone spikes steamed with heat and glowed red, looking like they were at an extremely high temperature.
"It actually formed heat organs on its own. Is this the Super Beast Soldier trace influence?" Zod's X-ray vision saw the changes clearly. He found that Blonsky's Extremis Virus was storing enormous heat energy, and there was a heat organ in Blonsky's mouth that could fire a heat beam. The temperature would likely be terrifying.
"Boss," Blonsky said, staring at his hands. He could feel power even greater than before.
But he still didn't dare offend Zod. Besides the thought-wave in his mind, he'd also witnessed Zod's overwhelming strength.
Red Hulk threw a punch directly. The fist blew the air apart, and the shockwave swept across the entire laboratory.
Zod remained unhurried. With five fingers, he moved him like a puppet, then abruptly pressed downward.
In an instant, Red Hulk felt an overwhelming force descend onto him. Terrifying pressure crushed down from above. His bones creaked, and a constant buzzing filled his ears.
Then he slammed into the ground, face down, limbs spread.
"T this… what is this…" Red Hulk forced out the words. The pressure slowed the blood flow through his body. His heartbeat was no longer powerful. Even moving a little was incredibly difficult.
"This is the electromagnetic field," Zod said with a grin.
He raised two fingers slightly. The Red Hulk on the ground stiffened, then shot upward to the ceiling.
Before he could spit out any threats, Zod flipped his hand, and Red Hulk crashed back down. The hard floor made him spit blood.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
More than ten consecutive rises and falls, then Zod's five fingers curled in the air before he violently swept sideways.
