Chapter 1 - Beginnings

Izuku Midoriay was terrified of his quirk. At first, he was super happy when golden trails of light surrounded him and created a weird tattoo on his back. When he tried using the light a flask filled with golden water would appear in his hand, and whenever he drank it anything that hurt him should easily go away. That was until he went to sleep. When he fell asleep he woke up in a coffin wearing seemingly samurai armor. That's when the memories slammed his head. War and the splitting of the Elden ring the same symbol on his back. The fact is he should have to defeat demigods to become the new Elden lord.

A part of his four-year-old mind knew he should be appalled at the idea of killing but before he knew it he was up and a zombie-like person was cut down. The blood splattered and a surge of golden light fled into him and he mentally saw that the amount of runes he held had gone up. And that's how it went moving along the caves and killing any zombie that attacked him. He got hit and it felt completely real as a large cut adorned his chest until he drank his flask of crimson tears and it healed him. This went on with Izuku in a numb panic this terrified him and made him sick up he kept moving until he finally found some doors.

When he opened the doors a hole world he had never seen before had opened up before him. A towering tree glistened the horizon. He fallowed the steps along until he got to an archway before him laid a circular area empty until he took a step in. Suddenly a monster jumped down in front of him with several arms and faces covered in cloth but holding swords and shields. A name somehow popped into his head, the Grafted Scion. The face on the front let out a shrill scream and izuku pulled out his katana and shield. He rolled out of the way of the first swing but got hit on the follow up. While he was on the floor the Grafted Scion raised his swords point down and waited. Izuku didn't react outwardly but on the inside his child mind he was panicking shouting to roll out of the way.

But when he did the weapons pinned him to the ground as it stabbed several times while moving around. He felt off the pain and the sword the stayed stuck in his chest just below his left collarbone. He felt himself seemingly dissipate in particles as the pain overcome him. But before he completely disappeared he heard the sounds of hooves and the breathing of a horse and a young women. The he woke up.

He woke up screaming from the phantom pain in his collar, the new scar under his collar bone itching as his mother ran in worried. Izuku cried and ran to his mother as she knelt down to hug him. He blubbered about what happened and what he saw. He kept talking and could not see the horror that crossed over the face of inkp. As her son told tales of a land full of monsters the katana he used to kill several of them. The Izuku talked about the Grafted Scion and the swords that pinned him to the ground. She paled and she lifted his tear stained shirt to see the thick scar that went under his collarbone.

"Oh Izuku… Iam so sorry." She cried and held him close. "I don't know what's going on but I'll help I promise." She said into his ear as he sniffled . Izuku cried for as long as the flashes of monsters filled his head

The next day Izuku went to school with bags under his eyes and tear stains. When he had seen the look on his mothers face when he talked about the Lands Between, he never wanted to be the reason that look was on his mothers face. He silently promised that he should keep it to himself from now on and not be a burden. When he got to his class he sat at his seat too tired to do much else. As he sat down he heard the signature snapping of his best friends quirk.

"Oí, Izuku you got your quirk yesterday right?" Shouted the aggressive spiky blonde hair boy with red eyes and a personality to match. "I d-did Kachann m-my quirk is." He paused suddenly wondering if he should really tell him about all of the horrible things he had seen. Instead he kept it simple to the flask of crimson tears he had learned they were called.

With the shimmering of golden light the flask settled in his hand and he looked up to kachann. "I can m-make this drink appear a-and it heals you when you d-drink it." He hoped that that would be enough he was scarred of his quirk but he hoped that this small part of it should be cool for his best friend.

Instead the sound of laughing filled the head of Izuku. "What kind of shitty quirk is that!? Your nothing more then a useless deku!" Kachann exclaimed and the kids who were listening in started to laugh. A spark went off as a hand was pushed into his face and smoke filled his mouth and nose causing him to cough. "Kachann that's m-mean!" Izuku cried out as he coughed out smoke. "You'll never be a hero with a useless quirk like that. What will you do? Heal the villains?" Kachann laughed as the teacher walked in and started the class.

The day went by fast as everybody ignored Izuku and when he got home he immediately hugged his mother. "Iam scarred, I-i don't want to go to bed." Izuku sniffled into his mother's leg as she looked sadly at her son, when she had mentioned going to the quirk doctor her son had adamantly refused scarred of possibly showing people what he saw in his dreams.

When it was time to sleep Izuku went to sleep in his mother's lap crying out of fear as his eyes closed.

He opened his eyes and was looking at a strange light that had other trails of light flowing to it and away from it. He was wearing his armor again and was ent injured or on the arena where the Grafted Scion was. To his right the sounds of hooves interrupted his thoughts as a strange horse deposited a pretty lady with one eye closed with strange markings.

Before he said anything she spoke.

"Hello I am Melina."

The next ten years went by in a flash and a lot changed for Izuku he was no longer scarred of his quirk, he was stronger and had newfound confidence through his achievements. The prof of his struggles scattered his body, for every first death from a new enemy the injury should scar his body before he woke up. Looking at his face there were a few scars on his face but not many majority of his scares were from his neck down. Sadly his mother got sick and was bedridden in her room with the medication costing a lot that the money his father couldn't cover.

He had recently started high school and had also recently defeated another demigod . One of the biggest and most honorable he had ever faced. Radahn the strongest of the demigods he only needed help from Alexander but he had died enough times to have memorized his attack patterns. He had a huge gash on the side of his chest from him but he was proud of the scars he held. He learned more about his quirk as well. When awake he could equip anything he was using at the time in his dreams like his katana and dragon communication seal or Reduvia's dagger. Another aspect he found out was that he could create grace points whoever he wanted. One of the coolest things though was that he could summon the past demigods as spirits to help he could not wait to be fighting a villain and just summon Radhan and have him flatten him with his gravity magic.

When he threw off his covers to get ready for school he went to pull on a shirt since he slept shirtless and he got a glance at his back. Scars crisscrossed over it but the symbol of the Elden ring glowed faintly on his back that rippled in mussels. For his age he was absolute jacked and to him he thought he looked epic with his scarred chest as he traced the hand wide scar he got from Radahns sword. As he put his shirt on he pulled out some neutralizing blouses he walked over to his mother's room and knocked lightly before walking in. Inko smiled tiredly at him as she nibbled the blouses. He found out that his consumables could affect other people when he accidentally dropped an oil pot and his mother slipped in it.

The blouses he gave her seemed to help but could never get her out of her sick state. "Hey honey, how was the lands? Did you finally beat Radahan?" She asked. When he had finally stoped fearing his quirk he told everything he knew to his mother and she was afraid at first but when she saw that it no longer scarred him she calmed down.

"Yeah I did, took all my will power to not summon as soon as I woke up." He chuckled as he summoned the spirit bell and giving it a little jingle. She laughed softly as well and cupped his face if a farewell as he went to school. As he walked he gave a glancing notice to a hero debute of a giant lady but he had seen greater people and feats than what they could do. when he got to school he sat down he pulled out his sketch pad and opened up to his drawing of Radahn. When his quirk came in he was so scarred that he lost his interest in analyzing hero's and after a while he started drawing the land scapes and their beauty. When he got older he started drawing the enemies and monsters he defeated. Sort of like a trophy room.

A hand slammed on his desk and heat started to emanate from the hand that was on Izuku's desk. He quickly sent his notebook into his off hand almost like he was a game making sure it wasn't Reduvia's dagger. He had almost cut Bakugo's head off the last time he attacked him from behind. "You shitty nerd are you drawing your stupid creatures again?" He snarled as he looked down at Izuku, over the years the runes he used had given him level 124 and mainly poured them into strength, vigor, dexterity and arcane with some into intelligence so that he could use more of his spells.

It had taken a while but he could now choose to see his health and FP including his items whenever he wanted. "There not shitty Bakugo there demigods." He replied dryly and just like every time he did it bakugo flinched slightly whenever izuku didn't use his nickname. Just then the teacher walked in and zeroed in on them. "Bakugo sit down, we don't want a mark on your record now do we?" The teacher admonished him, Bakugo huffed and stalked back to his seat. Izuku rolled his eyes and span a pencil on his scarred hands from the zombified dogs. The day flew by and Izuku stayed behind at the end of the day about to get his sketch book out when a hand landed on his shoulder his hand twitched to his katana that was infused with a bloody slash that should cleave this asshole in two but… laws are there so people like him are saved.

"You shitty deku, we're not done." Bakugo growled and Izuku nearly cringed at the cheesy line next up he'd blown up his shoulder and… the sound of an explosion sounded in the classroom and a quick flare of pain smolders in izukus shoulder. Although Izuku didn't move an inch and still stared into the eyes of the even more infuriated bakugo. Instead of saying anything Bakugo quickly picked up izukus backpack and threw it out the open window. "Don't try being a hero deku, your nothing more then a shitty bartender." Bakugo sneered as he stalked out the door.
