Seven o'clock arrived with a knock on Mei's door. Akira opened it to find Rina standing there, looking slightly flushed and breathing a bit heavily.
"Sorry I'm a few minutes late," she said quietly as she stepped inside. "I was... feeding in the courtyard. Took longer than I expected to get enough."
Her eyes flicked to Akira, and he saw the violet tinge was still there; it was faint but still there. She'd gotten some essence from passive feeding, but not enough. She was still hungry.
"No problem. Mei-san is just setting up." He lowered his voice. "How are you feeling? After earlier?"
"Better. Angry, but better. Ayaka texted me some breathing exercises to help control the aggressive impulses." Rina glanced around the apartment. "Where's the costume?"
"Living room. Mei-san will help you get fitted."
