Mana Tempering

The process of refining one's mana core to increase its rank, purity, and efficiency. Constant tempering can unlock latent potential and enhance lifespan.

SoulPet

A mystical connection between a human and another being. Strengthens physical and magical abilities while sometimes granting unique traits.

Awakening

The moment when a person's mana core activates, granting them magical abilities. Timing varies by individual; delayed awakenings are rare and often unpredictable.

Shards

Fragments of ancient, powerful artifacts. Each shard contains immense power and may influence the bearer's abilities or destiny.

Purity

The clarity of mana within the mana core. High purity amplifies control, strength, and longevity. Impure mana can be unstable and dangerous.

Rank

A measurement of mana core, strength and tempering level. Higher ranks allow more powerful magic and greater endurance.

Factions

Groups or families controlling regions, resources, or knowledge of magic. Influence and power are often determined by the average rank and number of awakened members.

Trait

Innate or acquired ability that differentiates individuals beyond raw magical power—e.g., elemental affinity, heightened senses, regeneration, or enhanced reflexes.

Outcast / Unawakened

Someone who has not awakened their mana core by the expected age. Often marginalized, underestimated, or looked down upon despite latent potential.
