Prologue: God Is Mad.
God has gone mad due to boredom and to alleviate this boredom she has turned the universe into her play thing. Under the leadership of angels, creatures invaded all the worlds across the universe.
At first mortals tried to fight back but they stood no chance against angels and monsters. Driven to hopelessness, mortals pray to the heavens for help only to hear a woman's hysterical laughter resounding across the universe.
To survive, the Armageddon Games were created and with it came some rules.
The Armageddon Games take place once every decade. During this time, the angels and creatures invading every world halt. Once the game is concluded, the victorious planets enjoy ten years of peace while the losers are forced to defend against the invasion of another ten years before they can get the chance to compete again.
Those participating in the Armageddon games are called Ascendants. They are mortals personally handpicked by God to represent their planet in the Armageddon Games. These ascendants are given access to the tower of God and wield the power of the origin curse.
Terms And Meaning
• Tower of Heaven: The source of all creations and power. It is said whoever reaches the top becomes God. It can only be accessed by ascendants.
• Curse of origin: The power acquired within the tower of heaven.
•Ascendant: Humans who wield curses and can access the tower of heaven.
•Elder Arts: This refers to mysticism and all forms of spiritual power.
